Alex Collins Good To Go Against Cardinals
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins (groin) returned to a full practice on Friday and has been removed from the final injury report for Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals. There was some worry that Collins might not play after he missed practice on Thursday, but he'll be in action this weekend against the division-rival Cardinals. And with Chris Carson (neck) headed for season-ending surgery, Collins could maintain his touchdown-dependent RB3/flex role in fantasy for the remainder of the season. His 3.77 yards per carry in five starts with Carson out should have fantasy managers tempering expectations, though. Travis Homer pretty much shared snaps evenly with Collins last week, and Seattle could look to involve Rashaad Penny more to close out the year now that they know Carson won't be back.
