Alex Collins Dealing With Injuries
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins (hip, glute) took separate hits on his hip and glute in the overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, but head coach Pete Carroll didn't have any further update on Collins' status. The 27-year-old handled 20 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown with Chris Carson (neck) still out. Collins struggled to get things going in the first half before settling in nicely to get the Seattle offense moving in the second half of the game. It doesn't sound like his injuries are very serious, but it's something to watch in practice this week leading up to the Week 7 game against the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas will remain involved as change-of-pace backs, but with Collins dominating the early downs, he'll remain in the RB3/flex picture for however long Carson is out.
