4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman is in line to hit third on Friday when the team opens up their 60-game season against the Mariners. Manager Dusty Baker appears to have settled on a lineup, and Bregman will be front and center in the action. Bregman slugged .544 from the three-hole in 78 games last season but slashed .405/.503/.818 in 121 at-bats while hitting cleanup last season. Bregman is an absolute superstar and sure-fire first-round selection in upcoming fantasy drafts. Especially in this 60-game format, few players can get hotter than Bregman for extended periods of time. Over his final 51 games last season, Bregman hit .372 with 15 home runs, 21 doubles, 48 runs batted in and 49 runs scored.--Joey C - RotoBaller
