Alex Bregman Ready To Lead Astros Playoff Push
6 years agoHouston Astros infielder Alex Bregman will look to continue his breakout season when the team opens up the ALDS in Houston against the Indians. Bregman has emerged as a superstar this season, finishing the year slashing .286/.394/.532 with 31 home runs, 51 doubles, 103 runs batted in and 105 runs scored. Bregman and Co. will face Indians starter Corey Kluber in Game 1 of the series and the 24-year-old MVP candidate punished right-handed pitchers for 57 extra-base hits and a .517 slugging percentage over 416 at-bats this season. Bregman also posted a .554 slugging percentage in 81 games hitting at Minute Maid Park this season and is the most dangerous hitter in the Astros lineup right now. Bregman is a slam-dunk selection in DFS for Friday.
