Alex Bregman Back From Paternity Leave
Alex Bregman has been activated from the paternity list prior to Friday's game against the Chicago White Sox. In a corresponding move, the Red Sox have designated right-handed pitcher Michael Fulmer. Bregman is slated to cover the hot corner and bat third on Friday evening. The 31-year-old was held out of the starting nine for just one contest. Over his last six games, Bregman has enjoyed an impressive offensive surge, as he has posted a .391/.462/.739 line with two doubles and two long balls. Under the hood, he has generated a solid .343 xwOBA while posting an elite 13.6 percent whiff rate. Bregman is worth a look in DFS facing Chicago southpaw Martin Perez as he looks to stay hot at the plate.
