Alex Bregman Slashing .320/.421/.601 Since All-Star Break
6 years agoHouston Astros infielder Alex Bregman continues to scorch every opponent that crosses his path, going 2-for-3 with a home run and five runs batted in against the Twins. Bregman is perhaps the hottest hitter in the game right now and his 25-for-56 (.446) over his last 15 games with five home runs, 19 RBI and a .875 slugging percentage. For the second season in a row, Bregman has elevated his game after the All-Star break and is slashing .320/.421/.601 with nine home runs, 16 doubles, 32 runs batted in over his last 41 games. The sky is the limit in terms of Bregman's potential at the plate and is slashing .395/.482/.754 with runners in scoring position this season. Bregman has emerged as a serious MVP candidate and has been one of the best values, per preseason draft position, in fantasy this season.
