Aledmys Diaz Has Two Hits In Loss
4 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Aledmys Diaz went 2-for-3 with a double in the Astros 5-1 loss to the Red Sox on Thursday. Diaz stepped in to play shortstop while Carlos Correa enjoyed a day off and generated some of the only offense the Astros lineup could muster. Diaz now has hits in each of his past four starts and for the season is now slashing .257/.316/.390. The Astros will travel to play the Blue Jays next and Diaz has been fantastic hitting away from Minute Maid Park. Through 13 road games, the utility infielder is hitting .386. Diaz could help DFS lineups when the matchup calls for it but should be considered in standard fantasy formats.
