Albert Pujols Hits 634th Career Home Run
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Albert Pujols hit his first home run of the season, the 634th of his career, in the Angels 5-1 win over the Rangers. Pujols delivered a 405-foot bomb to the left field seats in the seventh inning to extend the Angels lead. It has been a quiet first week of the season for the future Hall of Famer, and he is looking at a reduced role in the offense this season. Pujols could offer a fantasy team 15 to 25 home runs this season, but he brings little else to the table. He should not be owned in shallow mixed leagues.
