Albert Okwuegbunam Out For The Season
4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie tight end Albert Okwuegbunam (knee) is out for the season after tearing his ACL in the Week 9 loss to the Falcons. Okwuegbunam only caught two passes the last two weeks, but he impressed in Weeks 6 and 7 with Noah Fant hobbled with an ankle issue, including a Week 7 performance when he caught all seven of his targets for 60 yards. He also scored in the Week 8 win over the division-rival Chargers on his lone target. Okwuegbunam displayed some real nice chemistry with quarterback Drew Lock, who he played with at Missouri. It was an encouraging sign for his future. Albert O is worth a stash in deep dynasty leagues. Fant should see more opportunities with Okwuegbunam out for the year, and he'll have TE1 upside on a weekly basis.
