Albert Okwuegbunam Feeling 100 Percent
3 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Albert Okwuegbugam (knee), who suffered a torn ACL in the fourth game of his rookie season in 2020, said his knee is "100 percent" during training camp. Okwuegbunam proved to be a difficult physical matchup for defensive backs and caught nine passes for 105 yards in his first two games before his injury last year. While he is the backup to starter Noah Fant, the two tight ends give the Broncos a unique pairing of speed and size at the position. Okwuegbunam, a fourth-round pick in 2020, has 4.49-second speed and also stands at an imposing 6-foot-5, 258 pounds. The 23-year-old won't be on the redraft radar, but he'll be worth a waiver wire pickup if anything were to happen to Fant. Okwuegbunam caught 11 of his 15 targets for 121 yards and a score in just four games last year.
