Don't sleep on AJ Allmendinger in this weekend's Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway. In the first race at this track earlier this season, Allmendinger was able to come home with a 14th-place finish despite starting back in 29th-place, and at the similar 1.5-mile tracks this season (Las Vegas and Charlotte), AJ posted 18th- and 14th-place results. This weekend, Allmendinger was 22nd-fastest in practice and also qualified in that position as well. Earlier this week, AJ remarked about this track, "I'm looking forward to getting back to Kansas this weekend. We had a solid run there in the spring so hopefully we can unload like we did earlier this year, continue to gain momentum and build on our program."--Jordan McAbee
