Adonai Mitchell Goes for 37 Yards in Preseason Opener
Adonai Mitchell caught two of his six targets for 37 yards in a 24-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the first week of preseason action. Mitchell finished tied for second on the team in targets and third in receiving yards while playing throughout the first half of the game. The second-year receiver showed flashes at times in 2024 and has drawn positive buzz from Colts brass during training camp this year. Mitchell should open the year as the outside receiver across from Michael Pittman Jr., with Josh Downs in the slot, but his fantasy production could be spotty in what is not expected to be an explosive Indianapolis passing offense. The Colts' second preseason game comes next Saturday against the Green Bay Packers.
