1 year agoTexas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia blew the game open on Sunday night in the team's 9-2 win over the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series to force a Game 7 on Monday evening. Garcia finished the game 1-for-5 with a grand slam, four RBI, a run scored and four strikeouts. The 30-year-old hit the grand slam in the ninth inning to give Texas more breathing room after he was ejected late in Game 5 for a benches-clearing incident after he was hit by a pitch. Garcia is as hot as can be heading into the deciding game in the best-of-seven series, as he's now homered in three straight games. The Cuban slugger has been hot in the playoffs, going 13-for-47 (.277) with five home runs, a double, 15 RBI and seven runs scored in 11 games.
