Adam Thielen Could Be Game-Time Decision Monday Night
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (ankle) missed another day of practice on Friday but could be a game-time decision on Monday night against the Chicago Bears, according to offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. Fantasy managers would love to have Thielen available for what is likely the start of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues in Week 15, but the 31-year-old is dealing with a high ankle sprain, an injury that often sidelines players for multiple weeks. It would be pretty risky to bank on Thielen returning this week, especially with the game being on Monday. K.J. Osborn filled in for Thielen last week and scored a touchdown, giving him WR3/flex appeal for as long as Thielen remains out. With Dede Westbrook on the COVID list, rookie Ihmir Smith-Marsette could be the team's No. 3 receiver behind Justin Jefferson and Osborn.
