Aaron Rodgers Will Start Sunday
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that quarterback Aaron Rodgers (toe) will start in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings after he returned to practice on Friday. The Packers held Rodgers out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but the QB said all along that he would play this weekend in a big divisional game. Rodgers and the Green Bay offense didn't look that great in the 37-year-old's return from a bout with COVID-19 in last week's win over the Seattle Seahawks, and the team also lost running back Aaron Jones (knee) for one to two weeks. But the Vikings defense probably won't be able to slow down the Rodgers-Davante Adams connection, making him at least a solid midrange QB1 in Week 11.
