Aaron Judge Expects To Miss "Next Couple Of Days"
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) said he expects to miss the "next couple of days," but that he's not concerned after leaving Thursday's game against the Texas Rangers early with right-hip discomfort. He felt his hip on Thursday morning when he got up. It was the result of the awkward head-first slide from Wednesday's game against the Twins. Hopefully, the 31-year-old will be good to go after a few days of rest, but if he's not, an injured-list stint can't be ruled out. He went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts against Texas before departing, and the record-breaking right-handed slugger is now hitting .261 (24-for-92) with five doubles, six home runs, 14 RBI and two stolen bases on the year. Judge obviously is a must-start when he's in the lineup.
