6/14:With the New York Yankees trailing by two runs in the fifth inning of Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays, they needed a spark to ignite a comeback, and it came from one of their outfielders. It wasn’t who you’d imagine, however, as Aaron Hicks drilled a solo home run, cutting the deficit in half immediately. The shot ultimately set off a four-run inning, which was enough for the Yankees to emerge victoriously. Hicks, who batted leadoff instead of the resting Brett Gardner, did exactly what the club would want from their leadoff man.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
