Aaron Donald Expected To Play Against Packers
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that he doesn't expect defensive lineman Aaron Donald's (ribs) injury to "affect his game status for this week." Donald was injured while taking Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson down on a tackle late in the wild-card win on Saturday. The All-Pro pass-rusher made several trips to the locker room and had trouble breathing on the sidelines. Donald didn't return to the game, but he likely would have if the game was still in question. The 29-year-old is the heart and soul of this Rams Defense, so it's great news that his injury wasn't serious enough to keep him out in the Divisional Round against the Packers. LA's defense was the top unit in the NFL this year, but they'll have a tough task on their hands this weekend and won't be the top fantasy selection for the Divisional Round.
