NFL running back Payton Barber is a potential 2020 fantasy football sleeper and ADP draft value. Target him as an undervalued RB in fantasy football drafts.

ANALYSIS: Is Peyton Barber a sexy name to target in fantasy football drafts? No way. Is there a chance that Peyton Barber can fall into relevant fantasy football value in 2020? Absolutely.
With the release of Adrian Peterson, Washington's backfield consists of Antonio Gibson, Bryce Love, J.D. McKissic and Peyton Barber. Gibson is the electric rookie talent, but he also played wide receiver in college and has never seen an NFL snap yet. Love was a standout running back at Stanford, but missed all of 2019 with injuries. McKissic is expected to play a pass-catching role, likely on 3rd downs.
This leaves Peyton Barber, the running back with the most NFL experience of the bunch. Is he the most talented of all the Washington running backs? It does not seem that way. But he may end up getting touches early in the season, providing a more veteran presence, especially if any of the less experience RBs struggle out of the gate.
Barber is undrafted currently, so taking a flier on him with one of your last picks in the draft costs you almost nothing. Less talented running backs have found themselves with significant fantasy football value in the past, and in terms of draft day cost it's practically zero. If you find yourself feeling a bit thin at running back towards the end of your draft, you can grab Barber and see how everything unfolds in Week 1. Best case scenario, you have an RB with a handful of touches and some goal line TDs. Worst case scenario, he doesn't get many touches and you drop him to the waiver wire.
