ANALYSIS: This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New York Giants, a team that has been good against the tight end.
Pat Freiermuth has seen four red zone targets over the last four games, but the Giants are known for being challenging on tight ends. They allow the eighth-fewest receiving yards and the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. To make matters worse, they have yet to allow a receiving touchdown to tight ends this season.

Given these factors, Freiermuth should be kept on your bench this week. He is more of a TE2 in this matchup. While he has shown potential, the Giants' defense will likely limit his opportunities.
The TE10 for the season has managed only one game with double-digit fantasy points in PPR leagues.
Considering all of this, Freiermuth is viewed as a high-end TE2 this week. He is not a recommended start in most league types.
