ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown cemented himself in team and NFL history when he caught a 52-yard Hail Mary throw from quarterback Jayden Daniels after the clock expired on Sunday.

Other than the big play, he had only two other catches for 19 yards in Week 8. However, it was a tough matchup with the Chicago Bears, who boast one of the best pass defenses in the league. Brown actually played 81% of snaps and has appeared to clearly take over Washington's No. 2 receiver spot.
He's dealt with injuries this season but appears to be up to speed again and has plenty of softer matchups in the future. He could see solid target volume and be a decent start as a WR3/FLEX player in future weeks if his role turns into more targets, which seems likely.
He doesn't have the stiffest target competition, either. Tight end Zach Ertz is 33 years old and led the team with 11 targets on Sunday, but they would be wise to take some load off his shoulders and divert volume to Brown. Terry McLaurin is the clear WR1. There should be plenty of room for Brown to grow.

Every fantasy manager on the planet absolutely loves the tight end position. Well, not really. It would be nice if teams would throw to their tight ends more, but that might not happen any time soon. It's rare to find an elite TE. There are far more elite fantasy options at running back and wide […]

The tight end position is often one of misery for fantasy managers. Outside of tight end premium leagues, the position is easily the lowest-scoring in fantasy football among types of players (i.e., QB, WR, RB, and TE), with tight ends often failing to eclipse 10 PPR points per game. Still, having one of the better […]
