NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Monday, March 18

Tyrese Haliburton - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people; you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER,' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 18.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.

Tyrese Haliburton OVER 10.5 Assists - I've reached the point in Tyrese Haliburton's career in which I don't feel comfortable betting the under on assists. Over his last five outings, the All-Star guard surpassed the 10.5 ASTs line in three games. In a game filled with point guards who shoot first, Haliburton leans toward the Steve Nash line of thinking: Pass first, then shoot over your opponent.

Although Haliburton ranks first in total ASTs, which essentially gives bettors like me a vote of confidence in taking the over on 10.5 ASTs for Haliburton, the Indiana Pacers face the third-best defensive-rated Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. Admittedly, such an opponent for the Pacers will provide slight resistance for Haliburton. Do you know what they say about good defense? A greater offense will surpass it. Haliburton averaged 12 ASTs over his last three meetings against the Cavaliers. Take the over on 10.5 Haliburton ASTs.

Nikola Vucevic UNDER 0.5 Blocks - A few years back, the Chicago Bulls ranked in the top 10 in defensive rating. Oh, how the times changed. When Nikola Vucevic is your starting center, eventually, defense takes a back seat. In Vucevic's previous five games, he's only rejected one shot, Luka Doncic specifically, in the Bulls' 127-92 blowout loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Bulls play the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, which seems like a victory for the Play-In eligible Bulls, but Vucevic lines up against Deandre Ayton.

While I'm not one to give Ayton much credit, the Portland center's usually questionable motor seems to be working at the moment, as he's averaging 28 PTs in the last three games. Honestly, I don't see Vucevic cutting such a run short for Ayton, and I see the donut in the block category baking through Monday. Tap the under on 0.5 BLKs for Vucevic.

Domantas Sabonis OVER 18.5 Points - Despite leading the league in triple-doubles (23), the noise around Domantas Sabonis is questionably low, indicated by everyone responsible for not selecting the Sacramento Kings center as an All-Star in 2024. Nonetheless, averaging 20 PTs during the 2023-2024 campaign, Sabonis's scoring average surpasses Monday's 18.5 line for the three-time All-Star center.

The Kings matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday evening, which bodes well for the triple-double behemoth. In Sabonis's previous three outings vs. the Grizzlies, he recorded as many triple-doubles and posted 20 PTs in the January 29 contest. It's difficult to bet against Sabonis at this juncture in the season, so I say take the over on 18.5 PTs.

Jonathan Kuminga OVER 17.5 Points - The Golden State Warriors have played .500 basketball in their last six games, which explains why they are the 10-seed in an unforgiving Western Conference. During the six-game stretch, Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga averaged 22 PTs on 57 percent three-point shooting. Since Steve Kerr inserted Kuminga into the starting lineup for the 2023-2024 season, he's averaged 17.6 PTs.

The Warriors host the New York Knicks on Monday night, which makes for a formidable opponent. While one of the better defenses in the league should steer me clear from betting the over on PTs, the Knicks are banged up, leaving me to believe Kuminga's scoring run will continue. Tap the over on 17.5 PTs for Kuminga.
