NBA DFS Prop Picks for 6/2 - Monkey Knife Fight

donovan mitchell NBA DFS lineup picks daily fantasy basketball betting picks

Jake Finnen provides his NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 on Monkey Knife Fight. Make your DFS picks with his fantasy basketball advice.

With a four-game Wednesday, there's an unlimited amount of potential in the Washington-Philadelphia game depending on if Joel Embiid plays, so with three elimination games lined up, it's the last chance for any Wizards, Knicks, or Grizzlies player to step up and change the narrative. Unfortunately, the Knicks look all but dead in the water, and they need a heroic effort from their best player to shift the momentum in a 3-1 series.

The Wizards and Grizzlies have had their team's top options playing at their best and all they need is a little help from the supporting casts. Memphis, obviously, has to be more efficient whereas the Wizards are basically relying on an Embiid injury to save their season.

MonkeyKnifeFight.com continues to be ahead of the curve with their canceling of contests amid postponements, so don't worry about wasting money on a player or game that might not play. As always, you can find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter with any questions, especially since lines and players are subject to change throughout the day.

WAS @ PHI

Bradley Beal (WAS) MORE 31.5 Points - Tobias Harris (PHI) MORE 26.5 Points

Depending on Joel Embiid's availability for tonight, this game has potential to fall right into the hands of the Wizards. Without Embiid, the 76ers play at a higher pace, where Washington thrives. Tobias Harris as the primary option is still solid, so with the added usage, there's no reason why he shouldn't lead Philadelphia in scoring on a night the upside is maximized.

It's no different for Bradley Beal. So, although it might seem like wide open pastures for both players, Embiid playing will affect both sides of the ball and muck up any over bets. Until he announces he's playing, both Beal and Harris are in for big games.

ATL @ NYK

Trae Young (ATL) MORE 26.5 Points - Julius Randle (NYK) MORE 23.5 Points

Julius Randle had his first good game of the series and it still wasn't all that good, scoring two points below his regular season average. It's been a tough series to watch from the Knicks perspective and you can say what you want about Clint Capela's comments the other day, but a big man with confidence is still a big man with confidence. New York can't just will themselves into a win at this point. They need to crush any hope the Hawks have that they will win this series starting tonight. It's not going to happen, but an angry Julius Randle might finally have a good game.

Trae Young has taken over this series physically and mentally. The Knicks defense has no answer for anything he does. If they make a mistake or try to scheme, he exploits it himself or finds teammates that can hit shots when given enough chances. It really is tough to make an impact on a game where your offense works in bits and pieces and the opponents' work in chunks. The Hawks have just been better and are going to close out this series. Basketball is too funny of a sport for any guarantees, but the Knicks are falling further and further behind every minute they play.

MEM @ UTA

Donovan Mitchell (UTA) MORE 28.5 Points - Ja Morant (MEM) MORE 25.5 Points

The Grizzlies are putting up a fight every game this series and they continue to play up to their competition. Ja Morant is carrying this offense, but if he can get help from more than one player, Memphis could steal one more win this series. It'll take a miraculous effort from Morant and Memphis to win the series outright, but when these two teams clash, there are sparks.

Just think, that a few years ago, both these teams might not have broken 80 points. But tonight, this game has potential to be the highest scoring game of the night with two young stars headlining. As long as both are healthy and playing, there has been no reason to take the under, even though this might be the highest pre-game point total Morant has seen all season.

DAL @ LAC

Kawhi Leonard (LAC) MORE 30.5 Points - Luka Doncic (DAL) MORE 28.5 Points

A neck injury isn't serious, but truthfully, only Luka Doncic knows how serious it is. It's a difficult circumstance, but he's going to score regardless. Kawhi Leonard is the consistency that the Clippers need and he'll continue to put in the hard work on offense to carry the scoring, so the only real concern here is what Doncic is going to do.

Avoiding any speculation about injuries, Doncic playing generates points, it's just whether he can hit his outside shots or not. With only one made three-pointer made last game, he still scored 19 points in a 25-point loss. Worst case scenario, even if Doncic tries to force the issue on Porzingis being the main scorer, Porzingis will find a way to make it so Doncic is still having to take contested threes late in the shot clock.
