NASCAR Xfinity Series: DraftKings DFS Preview for Homestead Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit 300 (10/26/24)

NASCAR XFINITY SERIES STOCK DFS PICKS

Justin Carter's DraftKings DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Read his daily fantasy NASCAR advice and Xfinity sleepers.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to Homestead on Saturday for the Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit 300. This is the middle race of the Round of 8, with just eight drivers left in the race for the 2024 title.

Last week at Talladega, A.J. Allmendinger dominated, leading 102 of 201 laps to earn his way into the Championship 4. Now, seven drivers are left fighting for one of the three remaining shots at winning the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.

Here at RotoBaller, we want to help you make informed decisions about your DFS lineups, which is why I'll be breaking down the slates for the Xfinity Series. Let's look at some NASCAR Xfinity DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit 300 on DraftKings. Be sure to also check out our NASCAR Premium Tools for Xfinity Series, including our DFS Lineup Optimizer and powerful Research Station. This slate locks on 10/26/24 at 4:08 p.m. EDT.

Top Plays

Cole Custer ($10.8K)
Starts Fourth

Homestead's always been a good track for Cole Custer. He dominated here in 2017, leading 182 of 200 laps to win then followed that up with second-place results in 2018 and 2019. He then moved on to the Cup Series for a few years and didn't see much success in the ensuing three seasons, but he returned to Xfinity last year and looked poised to win again here, leading 114 laps before he cut down a tire on Lap 151 and slammed the wall. He ended up finishing a lap down.

Aric Almirola ($10.5K)
Starts Third

In 11 starts this season, Aric Almirola has two wins and six top 10s. He's also got a lot of experience at Homestead, running 14 Cup Series races here with two top fives and five top 10s. If a non-playoff driver wins this race, my money is on Almirola.

Sam Mayer ($10.0K)
Starts Ninth

Sam Mayer took advantage of Custer's mishap here last year, taking the lead after he crashed and holding it for most of the remainder of the race, aside from a short stint where Sheldon Creed paced the field. Mayer went on to win the race. He was fifth in his other start at this track.

Mid-Tier Options

Austin Hill ($9.3K)
Starts 16th

Austin Hill is one of the few drivers in this field with a previous win at Homestead. It didn't come in the Xfinity Series, but he took the win in the 2019 Truck Series race. Since moving to Xfinity, Hill has two top 10s in two Homestead races, including a fourth in 2023.

Connor Zilisch ($9.0K)
Starts 13th

After topping the charts in practice, Connor Zilisch qualified 13th on Saturday. That should offer some place differential upside for one of NASCAR's up-and-coming young stars. He'll also race the Truck Series race on Saturday, getting him some valuable experience on this race track.

Ryan Truex ($8.7K)
Starts 22nd

Ryan Truex is in a Sam Hunt car this week, not the Joe Gibbs car he usually drives, so temper expectations just a bit. Still, starting 22nd offers plenty of place differential upside for Truex, who has two wins and six top 10s in 10 starts this season.

Jesse Love ($8.3K)
Starts 14th

Jesse Love starts seventh of the eight playoff drivers on Saturday, which would provide a little upside as far as place differential goes. Love enters this race with top 10s in seven of the past eight Xfinity Series races.

Value Options

Brandon Jones ($7.8K)
Starts 20th

Next year, Brandon Jones moves back to Joe Gibbs Racing, ending what's been a disappointing time at JR Motorsports. But Homestead has been the site of some good runs for him, including second-place finishes in 2020 and 2021. This would be a good spot for him to shake off some recent rust and put this No. 9 car up in the top 10.

Matt DiBenedetto ($6.6K)
Starts 38th

Matt DiBenedetto didn't turn a lap in qualifying and thus will start back in 38th. That gives him a pretty strong case in DFS, as his average finish is 22.8 this season. That normally wouldn't be great for fantasy since his average start is 24.8, but now he has 10-plus points of place differential upside if he can just run a clean race.

Austin Green ($6.2K)
Starts 34th

Austin Green is in the No. 14 car this week, so it's tough to figure out what to think about him. He has three top 10s in seven starts this year, but those all came in the No. 32 for Jordan Anderson Racing, and they also all came at road courses.

But the 14 has four consecutive top-25 finishes, so there's definitely some place differential appeal. I wish he was just a tiny bit cheaper, but there's definitely some appeal at this price.

Dylan Lupton ($5.6K)
Starts 30th

If you want a punt play, you could do worse than Dylan Lupton. He's finished 24th, 27th, and 27th in three starts in this AM Racing No. 15 car this season, with positive place differential in two of those races. There's a bit of upside here.
