NASCAR Xfinity Series: DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for Loudon Ambetter Health 200 (7/15/23)

Justin Carter's DraftKings DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Ambetter Health 200 at Loudon. Read his daily fantasy NASCAR advice and Xfinity sleepers.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series heads to New Hampshire on Saturday for the Ambetter Health 200. Last year in this race, Justin Allgaier drove to victory, a win that broke a streak of six consecutive victories at this track for Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas. Will the Gibbs cars regain their Loudon dominance?

Last week at Atlanta, John Hunter Nemechek won over Atlanta, leading three laps. He now holds a 16-point lead in the championship race over Austin Hill, with Cole Custer third and Justin Allgaier in fourth.

Here at RotoBaller, we want to help you make informed decisions about your DFS lineups, which is why I'll be breaking down the slates for the Xfinity Series. Let's look at some NASCAR Xfinity DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Ambetter Health 200 on DraftKings. Be sure to also check out our NASCAR Premium Tools for Xfinity Series including our DFS Lineup Optimizer and powerful Research Station. This slate locks on 7/15/23 at 3:17 p.m. ET.

John Hunter Nemechek

Starting 2nd - $11,000

As I mentioned in the intro, Gibbs cars have won six of the past seven races here. Last year ended the streak of six in a row when Justin Allgaier won, but Trevor Bayne in the 18-car led 17 laps and finished second, while Ty Gibbs led 49 laps.

Nemechek, who won last week in Atlanta, will fire off second in this one, and I think he has a good shot to run away with this one. Track position matters a lot here—in the last 10 races here, the winner has started first or second eight times.

Nemechek has a top 10 here in Xfinity, plus three top 10s here in the Truck Series. His extensive experience, the power of his Toyota, and his starting spot should help JHN have a strong run.

Sheldon Creed

Starting 17th - $9,000

Last year's race was a mess. Just 25 cars were running at the finish, and four of the top 10 drivers in the starting grid got DNFs. (Another two were disqualified, but DQs don't matter in DFS, since the finishing order locks before the post-race inspection.)

Because of the chaos factor, I'm trying to hedge by not grabbing many drivers who start near the front. Nemechek is my pick to win, so the rest of my lineup is drivers who have a chance to make pretty decent place differential swings. We'll start with Sheldon Creed.

Last year, Creed survived a crash-filled race to finish fifth after starting 18th. He led 10 laps. It was especially impressive since it was his first visit to the track since he finished fifth in the 2017 K&N East race here.

Daniel Hemric

Starting 11th - $8,400

Hemric, who came close to earning his second Xfinity victory last week, has a pretty solid track record at Loudon, making him a strong play this weekend.

While Hemric has just one top 10 in four starts here, that seems like a slightly misleading stat, since he was three top 12s. Last year, a crash a little past halfway ended his day, but he qualified second in that race and led five laps. His one top 10 here, in 2021, was a third-place result. He crashed out of his only Cup start here but ran as high as 11th in that race.

Kaz Grala

Starting 38th - $7,800

Alright, time for some of the major place differential plays. Kaz Grala didn't run a qualifying lap and thus starts 38th for Saturday's race. That was the result of a practice collision between him and Ryan Sieg.

Grala, a native New Englander, hasn't been as impressive as some expected this year in his first full-time Xfinity season, but he's recorded four top 20s in a row, suggesting that this 26 car is finally getting some positive momentum.

In two Xfinity Series starts at this track, Grala has a pair of 14th-place finishes. He's got a lot of track time here in K&N East as well, with a best finish of third here in that series back in 2015. If he can stay out of trouble, Grala's got a shot to go +20 or better in place differential.

Ryan Sieg

Starting 37th - $7,700

Like I mentioned above, Sieg crashed in practice and was unable to run a qualifying lap, which means he'll start Saturday's race from 37th, making him an ideal place differential option.

Sieg crashed out of this race last year, but not before he led 10 laps. The 11 laps he's led here during his career ranks in a tie with Texas for seventh in laps led among all tracks he's run at. And in the six races at Loudon where his car's been running at the finish, his worst finish is 20th. As long as Sieg keeps the car clean, he should have a day that's basically on par with Grala.

Chris Hacker

Starting 31st - $5,900

Consider this the chaos spot in your lineup. Last year's race saw Brandon Brown finish third, while Jeremy Clements, Kyle Weatherman, Mason Massey, and Bayley Currey all had top 10s.

Hacker is my favorite of these sub-$6,000 options, but Massey is in play too, as is Greg Van Alst. My slight preference for Hacker comes from the fact he's in an RSS car. In his first start in this car, he started 29th at Richmond and wound up with a 14th-place finish.
