Week 16 Start/Sit: MLB Starting Pitcher (SP) Matchups

What's up RotoBallers... welcome to the All-Star break. Hopefully the first half of the MLB and fantasy baseball season has treated you well. For some of us, these few days off are coming just at the right time - we have a few days to regroup, take a deep breath, and get ready for the 2nd half's home stretch. For others, our fantasy teams are roaring right now and taking a few days off just seems silly. Regardless, we are here to hopefully to bring you an edge for your fantasy leagues, and give you what it takes to make that 2nd half run and win your leagues.

With the All-Star game festivities taking place from Monday through Thursday, we will see a shortened Week 16 of fantasy baseball action. As of now, not all of the teams have decided on their starting pitching rotations coming out of the break, but below are all of the starting pitching matchups for Week 16 that we are currently aware of. For every week of the fantasy baseball season, we look to analyze all of the projected starting pitcher matchups and put together our optimal lineups, and we will be updating this piece throughout the week as further updates from the MLB teams are released.

This weekly piece considers all of the pitching performances thus far this season, the pitcher's opponents, their career stats against the opponent, some ballpark factors and historical splits. With all of this information, we then provide our start/sit recommendations for each starting pitcher matchup for the approaching week of fantasy baseball. As always, there will be some viable starting pitcher sleepers and streamers to consider off the waiver wire, depending on your league size and format including AL-Only and NL-Only leagues.
