BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 4% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The New York Jets finally did what they should have done weeks ago and benched Zach Wilson midweek, not even dressing him on Sunday. The replacement was Mike White, who had not logged an appearance for the team this season to date but now has arguably the best outing from a Jets QB in 2022.
Wilson was atrocious in Week 11 leading the Jets barely 100 total offensive yards, passing for 77, and rushing for 26 more against the Patriots. Enough was enough, and after such a ridiculous 9-completion game Wilson went sent to where he's belonged since he got drafted no. 2 overall: the pine.
White, in his lone start for the Jets this past Sunday, already had an extraordinary QB1-level game to the tune of 22 completions on 28 pass attempts for 315 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions/fumbles at all through the four quarters. The Jets trounced Chicago and are now in solid contention for a postseason berth thanks to White's exploits.
The Jets are entering the home stretch about to face a bunch of teams that give up tons of FP to wide receivers. By extension, White should feast through this little run leading up to the fantasy playoffs.
White might not put up his W12 24.8 FP weekly ROS, but he should have enough inside of him to navigate some 16-to-20 range without much trouble on a game-to-game basis.
