Main DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 12/9/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Zach Edey - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 12/9/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

This is what we have waited for: it's wall-to-wall college basketball all day today! I'll be with you for every step of this DFS journey. The main slate is the noon tipoffs and we have some good ones! There are still some marquee non-conference games like Illinois heading to Knoxville and Cal heading to Hinkle Fieldhouse to take on Butler. Those are just the early games!

The afternoon features Alabama heading up to West Lafayette to take on Purdue. K-State heads to Red Stick to take on the Tigers. Florida State is in Tampa to take on South Florida. We have Auburn heading up to Bloomington to take on the Hoosiers. Louisville heads to Chicago to take on DePaul. The west gets involved with a big one in Tucson with the Badgers in town. TCU heads to South Carolina to take on Clemson. Richmond heads to the swamp to take on Florida. We end this in Tulsa with the Sooners and Razorbacks dueling on a neutral court.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/9/23, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Mark Sears, Alabama ($8,700)

Sears has scored at least 13 points in every game this season. He has scored at least 17 points in every competitive game. The Tide don't have the size inside that they had last year, so they are going to have to find ways to keep up with Purdue. Sears is the best volume scorer for the Tide and Purdue doesn't defend the perimeter well. We saw the Boilers lose to a guard-centric Northwestern team earlier this year. Alabama could give them some trouble. If they do, it will most likely be the handiwork of Sears.

Joseph Girard III, Clemson ($7,000)

Clemson is more put together than usual, and it has a lot to do with Girard and his scoring from the perimeter. Girard was a good scorer for Syracuse last season as well. He's used to the Orange uniform, so the transition is going well. He has scored in double figures in each of the last six games since he became more assertive in this offense. I wouldn't expect a ceiling game against TCU, but Girard will see plenty of open looks in this one.

Milos Uzan, Oklahoma ($6,600)

Uzan was a factor down the stretch for Oklahoma last year, but he has turned into a threat in every facet of the game this year. He posted a double-double against Providence with rebounds and had eight assists in the previous game. Uzan also has six steals in the last three games. All of that while scoring 36 points in the last three games. Arkansas won't make it easy, but Uzan is rolling right now.

Keonte Kennedy, California ($4,500)

Kennedy missed the first month of the season, but in his first action for Cal last weekend, Kennedy racked up 29.25 DraftKings points in 34 minutes. It's safe to say that Kennedy is going to be a big part of this rotation like he was at Memphis last year and UTEP for two years before that. Kennedy is way too cheap for a guy that plays 30+ minutes.

Also consider: Terrence Shannon, Illinois ($8,300); Jordan King, Richmond ($7,800); Aaron Estrada, Alabama ($7,300); Jameer Nelson Jr., TCU ($7,200); Caleb Love, Arizona ($6,800); Posh Alexander, Butler ($6,500); Kylan Boswell, Arizona ($5,800); Cam'Ron Fletcher, Florida State  ($4,900); Zakai Zeigler, Tennessee ($4,700)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Zach Edey, Purdue ($11,700)

The only thing that has been able to stop Edey in the early going is a blowout. That hasn't even stopped him every time. Edey only played 24 minutes against Iowa on Tuesday, but he still racked up 51.5 DraftKings points. That's his third 50-point outburst in the last five games. One of the other games was a blowout. The other was a solid performance in a win over Tennessee. Edey is a walking double-double and there is more than enough value to get him in your lineups today.

Emanuel Miller, TCU ($8,100)

Miller has scored in double figures in every game but the opener. He capped that off against Georgetown with 29 points, including a game-winning (maybe) three-point shot.

This isn't an NCAA Tournament game. In the grand scheme of things, this probably won't matter. The point is that Miller is the focal point of this offense right now and he's still stacking up the rebounds. There are a lot of good options at forward, but I feel like Miller's production will be close to most of them and he will be largely overlooked in DFS circles.

Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Louisville ($6,100)

Huntley-Hatfield leads the Cardinals with nine rebounds per game so far this year. His scoring is finally starting to come around, which makes him a serious double-double threat on every slate. That's not something you often see from a guy priced this low. Huntley-Hatfield isn't going to put up big numbers in any category, but he'll contribute in most.

Will McNair Jr., Kansas State ($5,000)

With the news that Nae'Qwan Tomlin was dismissed from the team, it guarantees good minutes for McNair for the rest of the season. Arthur Kaluma has started over McNair for the last couple of games, but McNair still has 55 minutes in the last two games. Kaluma is no stranger to foul trouble, so McNair's minutes load should remain high enough and he produces when he's in there.

Also consider: PJ Hall, Clemson ($9,800); Fardaws Aimaq, California ($8,600); Arthur Kaluma, Kansas State ($7,500); Jonas Aidoo, Tennessee ($6,900); Ian Schieffelin, Clemson ($6,600); Jalen Reed, LSU ($5,800); Mackenzie Mgbako, Indiana ($5,500); Trey Kaufman-Renn, Purdue ($4,400); Aidan Noyes, Richmond ($3,800)
