What's up guys. Welcome to the 8/31 live Q&A chat. Let's get some questions going, I'm here to help you prep for your fantasy football drafts.

Where should Sam Bradford be taken in a draft?

@Sanjuanita, i have Bradford at 111th overall, so that's about the 11th round

08/31 20:25Guest - Matilda

I chose Ameer Abdullah over C.J. Spiller in a 0.5 ppr draft. Wrong move?

@Matilda, I would be okay with Abdullah over Spiller. Have them at the same area.

08/31 20:26Guest - Belva

What you guys think about Ameer Abdullah?

@Belva, he will be great eventually, but hard to understand how many carries he'll get this year.

08/31 20:27Guest - Evonne

Do I trade Calvin Johnson / Carlos Hyde for Jamaal Charles / Keenan Allen? I would have Marshawn Lynch / Charles and Mike Evans / Amari Cooper. 1 pt PPR

@Evonne, I think i'd take it. It's a huge upgrade at RB, much harder to replace.

08/31 20:27Guest - Ricky

So I got the #1 spot in my second draft, and I had #1 in my first draft. In my first draft I picked Le'Veon Bell, should I double down on Bell or go with Adrian Peterson.

@Ricky, i'd pick AP regardless over Bell.

08/31 20:28Guest - Rudolph

Hard though...I don't know how much NO uses their backup and I don't know how much Detroit uses their back up

@Rudolph, Detroit uses them a lot. And Abdullah has a strong chance to be the lead back.

Is T.J. Yeldon a solid rb2?

@Sanuanita, "Solid" yeah, he should finish RB2, but i wouldn't be crazy about his upside. Team doesn't look like a high scoring offense.

08/31 20:29Guest - Matilda

Denver defense or Miami defense defense this year?

@Matilda, Miami, way easier schedule.

08/31 20:29Guest - Karrie

Dorial Beckham-Green worth a roster spot in redraft?

@Karrie, worth owning, yeah. Don't expect a lot, but he's worth chasing the upside for.

08/31 20:30Guest - Bruna

@ Edward Mike evans or Ashlon Jeffery ppr

@Bruna, Alshon for me. Evans is going to deal with his own up and downs along with his QBs

Is Mike Evans a legit WR1 in a PPR?

@Pablo, Rookie QBs have made WR1s in the past, but Evans is dealing with a lot more competition than others. I'd say he's a high WR2, and wouldn't draft him expecting a WR1 year.

08/31 20:33Guest - Matilda

is this a strong WR core in a ppr league: DeAndre Hopkins, Alshon Jeffrey, Jeremy Maclin?

@Matilda, i hate Maclin, but its strong.

08/31 20:34Wisco

Why do you hate Maclin?

@Wisco, because Alex Smith: Fantasy Football Player News & Analysis" target="blank" href="http://www.rotoballer.com/fantasy-football-nfl-news/?player=Alex+Smith">Alex Smith has never thrown to WRs. One surprising preseason isn't enough to throw out 11 years of data for me. It'd be unprecedented for Maclin to put up a strong season.

08/31 20:35Guest - Libby

Is streaming defenses a good idea?

@Libby, it's always a good idea. Easy to stream.

Harder if you're in a bigger league though.

08/31 20:35Guest - Matilda

Ryan Tannenhill a top 10 QB this year?

@Matilda, finished 9th last year. Team got better this year. But division got harder. Should still put up top 10 though.

08/31 20:36Guest - Libby

12 team league? Should I stream or just stick with an elite defense if I get one

@Libby, i'd stream unless you get lucky in the early season.

By lucky, i mean grab a good defense early on. Houston defense could be one of those defenses.

Who's a good d to stream week 1?

@Sajuanita, Carolina defense is the #1 stream option for week 1.

Amari cooper or andre Johnson for my WR 2

@Pablo, Andre Johnson. Cooper has a horrible divisional schedule, when it comes to DBs, and has to deal with his QB's growing pains as well as his own.

08/31 20:38Guest - Matilda

do you like Robert Quinn as a #1 IDP option?

@Matilda, nah, J.J. Watt is always the #1 IDP.

08/31 20:38Guest - Belva

What about Tampa Bay defense at home vs Marcus Mariota?

@Belva, that's another really good one.

who is the Rams number 1 receiver?

@Stephanie, right now it's Brian Quick but there's no promise he's really it. I don't think they have a true #1 figured out yet.

08/31 20:39Wisco

Like Carolina Defense (Jax) or Jets Defense (Cle) week 1

Carolina and Jets and Tampa Bay defense, yeah. ALl good week 1 choices. Jets could be amazing all year long too. Tampa Bay too, they have an amazing roster.

08/31 20:39Guest - Bruna

Edward im in a 11 team league where you play 2 QB, 2WR, 2RB and 2 flex rb-wr.. i drafted charles and spiller as my starting rb and have Julio Jones, A.J. Green, Jeffrey, Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, and Charles Johnson at Wr.. I could trade a wr and get a rb but do you think Spiller will be serviceable?

@Bruna, if it's PPR Spiller could be good enough, if not i'll move Watkins. I hate the Buffalo offense.

08/31 20:40Guest - Libby

Edward, you said you never drafted a backup qb, when theyre on a bye do you just pick up another?

@Libby, yeah. I stream QBs on the bye.

who should I take a flyer on in a 20 team max 4 RB league. David Cobb, Marvin Jones or D Johnson?

@Salvatore, Jones. Best chance to get volume.

Ed Caralina is taken who else would you recommend?

@Sanjuanita, TB or Jets.

08/31 20:40Guest - Matilda

I meant, with Watt, Kuechly and David gone...can only draft one player

@Matilda, gotta be an ILB. Can't tell you off the top of my head, but depends on your scoring too.

@Colin, AP for me.

08/31 20:41Guest - Sabrina

edward, i have dez bryant and brandin cooks right now.. do i pick up mark ingram or go another stud receiver|

@Sabrina, Depends on who's on the board. Ingram isn't a bad option, RB/WR combos are not bad unless the team is bad.

Carson Palmer or cam newton?

@Sanjuanita, Newton. His upside is top 5. He's been top 5 every year but last year. I'll ride him.

08/31 20:42Guest - Sabrina

good insight-- had ingram, lamar miller, frank gore, alfred morris

@sabira, i'll take Miller or Gore over Ingram personally.

08/31 20:43Guest - Jacob

Rate my team please, PPR Tannehill, L Bell, Justin Forsett, Joseph Randle, Ameer Abdullah, Evans, Jordan Matthews, Travis Kelce, Fred Jackson, John Brown, Allen Robinson, Pierre Garcon

@Jacob, I like your team a lot. Jackson was just cut by Buffalo, replace him.

T.J. Yeldon or Chris Ivory ppr?

I'll go wtih ivory, better supporting cast. High opportunity for a better finish. Yeldon's more of a floor play, but he's also 2-downing while Ivory's probably 3-downing.

08/31 20:43Guest - Jacob

I'm hoping Dallas picks him up

@Jacob, that's an alright plan.

08/31 20:44Guest - Karrie

green-beckham, Cole Beasley, zenner, brandon coleman or tyler lockett in a 0.5 PPR?

@Karrie, DGB. Highest upside of them all. Lockett's an option too, i'd be surprised if he's not the best WR on the Seahawks this year.

08/31 20:44Guest - Nicolas

you think ivory could last as my rbi in a 1/2 Point PPR league with 12 people?

@Nicolas, if he's healthy, yeah. I mean, i can't predict injuries.

08/31 20:45Guest - Karrie

Yea ive read good things, how do you feel about beasley?

@Karrie, low upside. He's a floor play, but you can find floor players all over your waiver wire.

08/31 20:45Guest - Sabrina

here are my 4 picks - ppr - dez bryant, brandin cooks, davante adams and alfred morris

@Sabrina, think you way overdrafted Cooks and Adams. Don't like your start at all.

08/31 20:45Guest - Jacob

Do I drop garcon, ( I have Evans and Mathews as my wide outs) to stash danny woodhead or ray rice?

@Jacob, i'd take Woodhead. FYI the last time he played 16 games for the Chargers he finished RB13 in PPR and RB19 in standard.

08/31 20:46Guest - Bill

Is it worth taking Bell at #1 even w a 2 week suspension?

@Bill, personally no. I'd rather take one of the other almost given RB1s.

Not to mention Pouncey is out for who knows how long

Centers are the most important part of the run game.

calvin Johnson poised to bounce back?

@sanjuanita, he's poised every year to be big. Only issue has been health. He's worth the cost though.

08/31 20:46Guest - Casey

Return Yards league. Would you go with Percy Harvin or Cordarrelle Patterson as a late round gamble?

@Casey, Harvin is who i'd take the chance on.

08/31 20:47Guest - Sabrina

how many championships have you won edward? do you have a profile?

@Sabrina, i have a profile on the site with all my posts. I've won a lot, but not every league has the same level of skill difficulty as others. For the most part i stick to dynasties.

08/31 20:48Guest - Belva

yo Ed what do you think of Alfred Blue / Arian Foster handcuff?

@Belva, i think it's okay. You picked them both up in rounds that you likely wouldn't have gotten great players in anyway, so it's good.

Shane vereen or Yeldon ppr?

Sanjuanita, thats actually kind of tough for me, but my heart says Vereen.

Better offense, better opportunities

08/31 20:49Guest - Jacob

Last question.... Dropping Garcon, do I stash Woodhead or Ronnie Hillman, who has the better upside in PPR

@Jacob, Woodhead. finished RB13 in PPR in 2013. Could again.

08/31 20:49Guest - Sabrina

what does rb13 mean

@Sabrina, means he finished 13th overall amongst RBs.

08/31 20:50Wisco

Think Washington offense has better outlook with Kirk Cousins?

@Wisco, no. All three QBs they have are bottom of the league.

Well, Robert Griffin III could be better, but he isn't. But they're all amongst the bottom of the leagues group. Hyped for no reason.

Vereen or ivory ppr?

@Sanjuanita, i'd ride Ivory. Much higher upside.

08/31 20:51Wisco

Yea I have Garcon on bench in one league just trying to decide if I drop him or keep him

@Wisco, i think Garcon's been ignored by Cousins before. I'd hold just in case, i doubt you have better options to pick up.

Alright, 3 more minutes before i close up shop.

08/31 20:52Wisco

Yea Reggie Wayne, Rueben Randle, Allen Hurns

@Wisco, think Garcon's the best to hold.

Marvin Lewis a good stash?

@sanjuanita, you mean Marvin Jones? yes

08/31 20:52Guest - Jacob

If I were to drop garcon for a handcuff to a stud that I don't have who would it be... Jerrick McKinnon, Knile Davis, Ronnie Hillman

@Jacob, Knile Davis. Charles will likely get some relief this year to keep him healthy. Don't take that as a negative to Charles, just a boost to Davis.

08/31 20:53Guest - Leatha

Should I hold on to giovanni bernard, is he worth holding on to

@Leahta, yeah

Yes my bad lol

@Sanjuanita, he's worth the chance, but i have doubts he'll reach it. Think that offense will be all on Green, Eifert, and Jeremy Hill.

08/31 20:54Guest - Cierra

do i handcuff ap with mckinnon after week 1 dropping deangelo williams?

@Cierra, i don't usually bother handcuffing but if you want to - yes.

08/31 20:54Guest - Betsy

Andre Ellington and Anquan Boldin for Lmar Miller and Amari cooper?

@Betsy, i'd do it. Think Cooper/Miller can easily match those two.

Sorry, i saw someone ask about Miller over Ellington, i accidentally deleted it- but i'll answer that i'd rather have Miller. Miller's crazy efficient with much less injury concern. They're both similar players, low volume with high efficiency

With that, i'm closing up the chat. Thanks for coming guys. I'll be on again next week. I'm in the regular chat pretty often so find me there if ya need anything, or add me on twitter. @edwardgorelik
