Kapri Bibbs (RB, WSH) - Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team PPR Leagues

OWNED IN: 3% of Leagues

ANALYSIS: Kapri Bibbs hasn't exactly garnered a whole lot of attention out of the Redskins backfield as he ranks fourth on the team in carries (13) and rushing yards (56) behind Adrian Peterson, Alex Smith, and Chris Thompson. However, even with Alex Smith tossing for a rather modest (though characteristic) 233.4 yards per game, Bibbs has recently been operating at an efficient level as a back in the Washington pass-attack. In fact, while he ranks ninth on the team in receiving yards, targets, and receptions, he was able to accumulate 58 receiving yards from five receptions out of six targets in the last two weeks in which he saw time on the field as part of the offense (week seven and nine). Also, despite his rather limited share of the work load in carries and receptions, his opportunities have encouragingly come in situations of higher stakes.

Even though he has only carried the ball 13 times this season, four of those attempts have come in the red-zone while three of them came within the opponent's ten-yard line. In those opportunities, Bibbs has scored twice which gives him more rushing touchdowns on the team than anyone not named Adrian Peterson (not to mention his week seven receiving TD). As a newly adopted option out of the passing game for Alex Smith and as a secret-weapon for the Redskins near the end-zone, Kapri Bibbs warrants solid consideration in deeper PPR leagues in the RB-heavy, spread out Washington offense.
