ANALYSIS: From a fantasy football perspective, Herbert has been a little disappointing in 2024. However, this was to be expected with Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman running the Chargers offense. Even still, he has finished as a QB1 in each of the last three weeks.

Herbert gets another great matchup this week. The Chargers take on a Bengals defense that has struggled throughout the year. They rank 27th in defensive passing DVOA per FTN Fantasy and allow the fifth-most points per game to opposing quarterbacks per Fantasy Football today.
Los Angeles may attack the Bengals' defense on the ground with J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Herbert might need to find the endzone a few times to pay off for managers. Luckily, he is more than capable of doing so. He makes for a fine option this week if your starter is on a bye, or if you’ve been streaming the position.
It’s a nice matchup and Herbert has a good chance at extending his current run of QB1 finishes to four straight weeks.
