Javonte Williams fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 8 (2024). Should you start or sit Javonte Williams for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams had by far his best game of the season in Week 7. He scored 26.1 PPR fantasy points by rushing 14 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns and catching all three of his targets for 23 yards. He did this by facing the worst tackling defense in the NFL.
I don't make the rules. I don't care who's playing. I'm cooking on primetime.

There are probably running backs that haven't played in five years that could have scored on that play. New Orleans's defensive players essentially have given up the past few weeks. They allowed Sean Tucker, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers third-string RB, to score 34.2 PPR fantasy points against them, for example.
Williams has been mostly unstartable this season outside of Week 7. He does get another extremely soft matchup in Week 8, though -- the Carolina Panthers have fielded one of the worst defenses in the league this year and have been ineffective at stopping the run since their All-Pro defensive tackle Derrick Brown went down.
They allow 4.7 yards per rush attempt this season, tied for eighth-worst in the league. So you should start No. 33 for the Broncos. He could have another big game.
