BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 34% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Saints are going on a Bye week this next weekend and will be out of the schedule for the next couple of weeks, give or take. Winston's therefore not going to be eligible in Week 6. Is that bad? Nope. Pretty much the opposite. This is a true window of opportunity to exploit and grab Winston where available already, and also in those leagues with inept GMs dropping him just because of that Bye week ahead.
Winston came back to his ways last Sunday. In other words, he threw 4 touchdown passes against an interception (and a fumble) while completing exactly half of his passing attempts (15-of-30) and adding 26 yards on 6 carries. Call that what you want, but Winston (pending MNF) closed Sunday as the QB4 of the week thanks to a fantastic 26.8 FP performance only bested by his Week 1 ridiculous effort (29.6).
When the Saints come back in W7 they'll most probably have both Michael Thomas (remember this guy?) and Tre'Quan Smith starting at the wideout position. That alone ultra-boosts Jameis' upside going forward (assuming both guys can stay healthy) and will also open pass-play opportunities for RB Alvin Kamara (he caught 5-of-8 passes in W5, the first time he's done all year) thus raising Jameis floor/ceiling too. Winston is a more-than-acceptable stash-player to acquire ahead of his Bye, and a must-start in virtually every league once the Saints are back on the schedule in two weeks' time.
