Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has had an excellent start to his career and is establishing himself as a premier player at the position in "real life" and in fantasy football.
However, he's been absent from practice over the last few days. Needless to say, his status is worth monitoring as the regular season is set to begin in two short weeks.
Is Andrews injured or healthy? What is his 2023 fantasy football outlook? Let's dive in.

Mark Andrews Injury Update
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Mark Andrews (undisclosed) is dealing with something that "isn't serious." There's not much to see here, as Andrews should be just fine moving forward and for the start of the regular season in Week 1.
It's worth noting the Pro Bowl tight end missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but again, he seems to be just fine and not at risk of missing meaningful action. At this point in the offseason, organizations are going to play it safe with their key stars ahead of the regular season. His absence is likely just precautionary.
Mark Andrews 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
The Ravens have some new pass-catching options in veteran Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie first-rounder Zay Flowers, but Andrews has excellent chemistry with quarterback Lamar Jackson and should remain a top target through the air in an offense that is hoping to improve the passing attack in 2023.
Until further notice, fantasy managers should consider the 27-year-old Andrews to be a top-three fantasy tight end. The three-time Pro Bowler had 73 catches, 847 yards, and five TDs in 15 starts in 2022. If Jackson can stay healthy and play all 17 games, Andrews could top those numbers in 2023.
He is one of the very few contenders to dethrone Travis Kelce as the fantasy TE1 -- though it's still a longshot.
