Happy Saturday, RotoBallers! Another day, another dollar in the NBA and we have a small four-game slate worth of NBA action throughout the entire day. We have some fun matchups tonight with some surprising storylines to monitor.
We have ourselves a handful of teams coming into tonight's slate on a back-to-back, as the Celtics, Pacers, Knicks, Nets, Jazz, Sixers, and Rockets will all take the floor tonight after playing on Friday night.
In this article, I'll be providing my favorite picks against the spread, game totals, parlays, and teasers for the NBA slate that tips off at 7:00 PM EST on Saturday, January 6.

NBA Betting Picks: Totals
Boston Celtics (-5.5) @ Indiana Pacers (245.5 total)
I'll start things off out in Indiana. Both of these teams come in tonight off of a back-to-back so there's no significant advantage or disadvantage for either team, and this could be a fun one.
The Celtics come into this one ranked third in offensive efficiency (118.6). They'll take on a Pacers defense that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency (117.6). My model projects the Celtics to see a nice bump in pace from their 24th-ranked pace (100.4) up to 104.73. My model also projects them to score 132.37 points tonight, so we're getting solid value on this number

NBA Betting Picks: ML and Spreads
Utah Jazz (+12.5) @ Philadelphia 76ers (237.5 total)
I'll wrap things up out in the City of Brotherly Love tonight as the Jazz come in to take on the Sixers. Both of these teams took embarrassing losses last night, with the Sixers falling to the Knicks 128-92 while the Jazz got stumped by the Celtics 126-97.
The Sixers in this one, however, have significant advantages on both sides of the floor. They rank fifth in offensive efficiency (117.4) and third in defensive efficiency (108.6); while the Jazz rank 21st in offensive efficiency (110.7), and 24th in defensive efficiency (115.2). The Sixers project to positively regress in both of these facets and project to a 133.49-117.24 victory, making them a solid spread option on this slate.
