MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Nick Lodolo OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-145 DK)
Lodolo is my second-favorite lefty today as he takes on the Chi-Sox at home. His run prevention has been terrible lately, but the strikeouts are still there for him as he's posting a 30% K% and a solid 13.5% SwStr%. He's whiffed six or more batters in all but one start, and that one was against the Tampa Bay Rays who have been making good pitchers look bad with regularity.
The juice isn't as high as I was expecting and I actually thought we'd see him open up at 6.5. If this line moves today, I am pretty comfortable going over 6.5 on him, too, as long as you're getting some good odds in return.
Logan Allen OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-135 DK)
This is our guy today! Allen made us a lot of dough last weekend when we laddered his strikeout prop on FanDuel all the way to 8k as he struck out 8 Red Sox. He now has 8 strikeouts in both of his first two starts in the big leagues and now gets one of the best matchups of the day against the Twins.

Minnesota has a K rate approaching 30% against Southpaws and a lowly 77 wRC+, meaning Allen should have a great chance of racking up strikeouts and keeping runs off the board here. Allen has had an impressive 14.7% SwStr% thus far and isn't walking guys either with only a 6.7 BB%. Everything is lining up here for another potentially big day for the Guardians' rookie. I will absolutely ladder him again on FanDuel - this time up to 10 strikeouts!
Nathan Eovaldi OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-130 DK)
I'm rolling with my Nasty Nate here again this week. Last weekend, he threw his best game of the season as he tossed a complete game shutout against the Yankees and whiffed 8 Yanks in the process.
Eovaldi has now struck out 6+ in five of six starts and continues to be impressive. He has everything we are looking for - a high K%, high SwStr%, and low BB%. The Angels are a solid offense, but they are striking out a little more than average against righties at 23%. This will be a matter of avoiding any big innings for Eovaldi because if he can keep pitching into the sixth inning or deeper, you have to love his chances of getting a strikeout per inning.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 total bases (-125 DK)
Bryce is back, baby! Phillies fans everywhere rejoiced when it was announced that Harper was set to return from his injury sooner than expected. He's already a big impact on this lineup, collecting four hits while walking twice and scoring three runs.
Today he'll face Corey Kluber from Boston, who has looked cooked for the most part this season. His velocity is down into the 80s on his cutter and sinker and he's going to have to be extra crafty with his breaking pitches to navigate major league hitters without that velo.
Harper's metrics are simply fantastic against Kluber's arsenal of pitches, so I am banking on Bryce making some good contact today and collecting an extra-base hit or just a couple of singles in order to cash this one.
Christian Walker OVER 1.5 total bases (+125 DK)
In case you missed it, the Snakes' slugger has been on an absolute tear lately. In his last six games, Walker has four HR and 10 RBI while collecting multiple hits in five of those six contests.

Yet his total bases prop today against lefty MacKenzie Gore is still at +125! I'm not sure I get that, but I am happy to roll with the hot bat in a good spot. Gore is a talented pitcher, but he has struggled at times including his last start when he surrendered four earned runs on seven hits.
Walker's stats against lefties (small sample size warning as usual) this season have been tremendous as he's sporting a .401 wOBA and .389 ISO. Let's see if he can keep the good times rolling and help us pad our pocketbooks tonight.
