ANALYSIS: Frank Ntilikina played just eight minutes in the Knicks’ season opener and proceeded to miss the following two games with an ankle injury. Since returning, the 19-year-old has showed signs of promise, averaging 6.3 points on 8-for-19 shooting with 3.0 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 1.3 steals across his last three games, playing more than 20 minutes in each of those three contests. His defensive prowess — plus the lack of firepower in New York’s backcourt — will allow the eighth overall pick to remain in the rotation and continue to improve. Ntilikina could make for a solid source of assists and steals for fantasy owners in need.
