Top 150 Outfield (OF) Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Points Leagues - March Updates (2025)

Yordan Alvarez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Top 150 fantasy baseball outfield (OF) rankings for points leagues, updated March 2025. Crush your drafts with updated outfield H2H points rankings.

Opening Day is rapidly approaching as we are less than a week away from the start of the 2025 MLB season. Popularity in fantasy baseball points leagues continues to rise. At Rotoballer HQ, we have been providing rankings for all formats, especially points. Today, we focus on the outfield position with our updated 2025 fantasy baseball starting pitcher rankings and tiers for points leagues and H2H points leagues.

Depending on how many outfielders your league requires to start, there is a steep dropoff from the elite tier. New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge leads the way as our MLB team's top-ranked outfielder. Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez is a points machine and is the last outfielder in the first tier of our rankings after slashing .308/.392/.567 with 35 home runs, 86 RBI, 88 runs, and six steals in 147 games. Aside from these studs, how does the rest of the position look for 2025?

The OF rankings below are specifically designed for points leagues, put together by RotoBaller's MLB points expert Nicklaus Gaut. We also have many other fantasy baseball rankings, tools, and resources to help you win in 2025, including our constantly-updated fantasy baseball points rankings for all positions. OF Points Rankings for Fantasy Baseball (March Updates)

These rankings are for points and head-to-head points leagues. You can also see our roto fantasy baseball rankings.

Before we get to the rankings, let's quickly review points leagues and how they differ from other formats. Typically, points leagues have different league settings and scoring formats than other fantasy baseball leagues. Different MLB stats and categories are assigned different point values, and those can vary by individual league settings. Those different point buckets are then added up over the course of a scoring period or season.

In many cases, hitters who walk more and strike out less are preferred for points leagues. Also, many league formats tend to give more weight to pitchers than normal, as they can easily accrue points through categories like Innings Pitched. These are the general frameworks that we use for our points league rankings below, and explain why they look different than more standard 5x5 roto fantasy baseball rankings.
