FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/10/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 3/10/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. The league features nine games that are spread throughout the day, beginning at 12 pm EST, to keep things interesting. As always, we have some injuries to keep an eye on as Zach LaVine, Kawhi Leonard, Tyreke Evans, Domantas Sabonis, Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Dewayne Dedmon, Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and Rudy Gay are all listed on the injury report in some shape or form. Though not all of the Vegas lines have been released as of this writing, New Orleans at Atlanta will likely lead the way in terms of projected overall combined score. This game will also top the slate with a projected pace of 107.93 possessions, which is why this will be a great game to target, especially with all of the injuries on both squads.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/10/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Mike Conley - PG, vs. ORL ($8,400)

Though the matchup between the Grizz and the Magic will likely be the lowest-scoring game of the day, Conley will lead the way for a Memphis team that doesn't have many options to turn to on the offensive end. Since missing a game due to "general soreness," Conley is averaging nearly 52 fantasy points over the past two contests.

Trae Young - PG, vs. NOP ($8,300)

After being priced above the $9,000 mark just a little over a week ago, Young is valued very reasonably considering his ceiling. He played only 28 minutes against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night but was still able to accumulate a triple-double, the first of his career, finishing with 23 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. Though the Hawks are on the back end of consecutive games, he should have plenty of gas in the tank to see a full workload on Sunday.

Luke Kennard - SG, vs. CHI ($5,400)

Kennard finished with 14 points throughout 27 minutes against the Bulls just a few nights ago and could see some more action once this one gets out of hand. Since Detroit will be playing the first game of a back-to-back set, look for the Pistons to keep their starting unit fresh and ready to go for a fight for playoff positioning with the Nets on Monday night, which will mean more minutes for the 22-year-old.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Julius Randle - PF, @ ATL ($9,100)

With Jrue Holiday out and Anthony Davis unlikely to play, Randle will be the biggest beneficiary from a fantasy standpoint, receiving a 6.4 percent bump in usage. He has hit at least 50 fantasy points in four of his last seven contests and has an agreeable matchup against a weak Hawks defense.

Kenrich Williams - SF, @ ATL ($5,200)

Williams struggled offensively against the Raptors a few nights ago, finishing with only nine points on 3-for-9 shooting from the field, but made amends for his subpar fantasy performance by nabbing five steals in the process. Williams is a good play with Anthony Davis in the lineup, but he should be extra productive without him on the floor. While we are at it, also keep Frank Jackson, who scored 20 points against Toronto, in your back pocket if you need to save some cash.

Taj Gibson - PF, vs. NY ($4,800)

It would be surprising if Karl-Anthony Towns, who exited Saturday's contest against the Wizards prematurely as a result of a knee injury, would be allowed or able to suit up against the Knicks on Sunday. As a result, Gibson will likely get the starting nod at the five spot, just like he did when Towns was out of the lineup at the end of February. While filling in for KAT, Gibson averaged 19.5 points and eight rebounds throughout two games, with one of those games being against the New York. In addition, don't forget about Keita Bates-Diop, who received the first start of his career against Washington, and Derrick Rose if Andrew Wiggins also isn't able to play.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Jonas Valanciunas - C, vs. ORL ($7,600)

Just like in the case of Mike Conley, Jonas will have his number called more than usual to provide support in the scoring column. Despite having a tough matchup against Nikola Vucevic, his size could allow him to impose his will on him and finish the day with a double-double.
