NBA Player Props - Today's Top NBA Picks and Odds (12/3/25)

Nicolas Claxton - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Keith Eyster's top NBA player props for 12/3/25. Expert NBA picks, best NBA odds, and values for prop bets. The top NBA player props to bet from players in NBA starting lineups, but also value picks for bench players, too.

Welcome back to another edition of the RotoBaller NBA props article! We have another action-packed night in the Association, with a nine-game slate on tap and plenty of games worth targeting with player prop bets.

Tonight's games feature several exciting matchups, with loads of high totals littered throughout. There are plenty of stars like Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo expected in the starting lineup, but as always, we will dig deeper into the rotations to find the best possible odds to target.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Wednesday, December 3rd. Prop picks can range from individual stats -- points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive stats -- to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Let's get to the picks already. I loaded it up for tonight!

Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets and Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Donovan Mitchell over 28.5 points (-118 FanDuel)

Cavaliers guard Mitchell is putting together another outstanding season, averaging a career-high 30.6 points and shooting nearly 51% from the field. He is making more than 39% of his three-pointers while attempting more than 10 of them per game. Mitchell torched the Pacers for 43 points in his last game and has now scored 40+ points in two of his previous three games.

Tonight's matchup sets up as another smash spot for Mitchell. Portland has played at the third-fastest pace in the league this season, and its defensive rating sits just 21st. It is also still without one of the elite perimeter defenders in the league in Jrue Holiday. The Cavs also play at a top-10 pace, so there should be a few extra possessions in this game, and that likely means a few extra shot attempts for Mitchell.

Nicolas Claxton over 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-103 DraftKings)

The Brooklyn Nets have been one of the worst teams in the league this season, but they may have a matchup they can exploit to help them remain competitive in this contest. Center Claxton is coming off a double-double performance last game against Charlotte in which he posted 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The big man played 33 minutes in that game, showing Brooklyn's willingness to extend Claxton when he is playing well. He gets an elite matchup tonight and should be able to have similar success.

The Bulls have lost their last four games, and the competition hasn't been all that difficult. Three of those losses came to the Pelicans, Hornets, and Pacers, who are among the worst teams in the league. Their defensive rating has slipped to 22nd, and they play at the second-fastest pace in the league.

Chicago has also allowed the most points in the paint this season, where Claxton is scoring 69% of his points and more than 80% for his career. The matchup sets up perfectly for Claxton, and the Bulls' struggles recently should keep this game close enough for Claxton to flirt with another double-double.

Top Value Props and Sleeper Picks

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies on the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Anthony Black over 21.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120 Fanatics)

The Magic remain without Paolo Banchero, but the star's absence has allowed other players the opportunity to step into larger roles. No one has capitalized on that opportunity more than third-year man Black. The Arkansas product has taken a massive step forward in his development this year and is averaging career-highs across the board.

The first game after Banchero went down with an injury, Black struggled with just two points in 16 minutes. In eight games since then, Black has averaged a massive 31.1 minutes, 18.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists (or 25.3 PRA).

He gets a matchup against a Spurs team that is playing on the second night of a back-to-back and will still be down two elite defenders in Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle. Black should be able to continue this amazing run with a strong performance over the Spurs.

Jay Huff over 15.5 Points + Rebounds (-112 FanDuel)

The Indiana Pacers have used a rotating cast of players at the center position all season long, but it appears they may have found something in Huff.

The 7'1'' Virginia product has started each of the last three games, and the results have to be encouraging for the Pacers. Huff has averaged 24.3 minutes, 13.7 points, and 5.7 rebounds in those starts, and he leads the league with 2.3 blocks per game. It is easily the best production they have seen from the position this season.

The Pacers have tried out Isaiah Jackson, who struggles to stay healthy and often finds himself in foul trouble, and they have aging Tony Bradley. Huff should be able to maintain a firm grasp on his starting role, and that likely means around 25 minutes of playing time.

Huff has three-time MVP Jokic on the other side of this matchup, but the books have been a bit slow to adjust to the new role for Huff. Even in this difficult spot, Huff should be able to rack up at least 16 combined points and rebounds.

Davion Mitchell over 6.5 assists (-138 Caesars)

Heat guard Mitchell has been playing excellent basketball on both ends of the floor. With Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo back in the lineup, the Heat are virtually back to full strength for the first time this season.

Mitchell has been able to settle into a facilitator role over the last four games playing alongside Herro, and he has seen his assist rate spike as a result. Mitchell has posted at least nine assists in each of the last three games. His worst game playing alongside Herro happened to be in this same matchup he gets today against Dallas. Perhaps that is why the line is sitting at just 6.5 assists.

For the season, Mitchell has averaged 7.8 assists per game. The Heat and Mavs both play at a top-6 pace, so there should be plenty of extra possessions. Dallas has been a strong defense this season and does have Anthony Davis back in the lineup, but Mitchell should still be able to post at least seven assists.
