FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/19/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

John Brubaker highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/19/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Happy Friday, RotoBallers! I hope this week of NBA DFS has treated you well. I'm continuing to work on my NBA model, trying to gather more information to make sure all of you are as armed as possible going into each slate. Even with the small adjustments I've made so far, it seems to be working. I'm trying to implement different factors to separate cash options against GPP options. I'll continue to keep you all updated with the adjustments I make, and with all of that said, let's get to tonight!

Tonight we have a big slate, with nine games on tap. With FanDuel adding multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates a bit differently to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/19/21. You can also check out today's DraftKings NBA DFS lineup picks. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s injury news to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Brunson, PG/SG - at PHO ($6,500)

As of now, Luka is considered doubtful. This opens up the door for Jalen Brunson again tonight. I mentioned Jalen Brunson on Wednesday and he was able to deliver, logging 18/9/9 and a 39.3 FD point performance. He gets the same matchup tonight against the Suns on the second half of a home and home. While I anticipate the Suns will try to make adjustments to slow him down, he's still a viable play due to his minutes and usage floor. If Luka ends up playing, Brunson will be a great GPP play. If Luka's out, I think he's viable in both contest formats.

Patty Mills, PG/SG - vs ORL ($4,000)

Patty Mills has stepped up while the injury bug has struck the Nets. In his last three games, Mills has had at least 25 FD points in two of them. He now gets a positive matchup against Orlando tonight in a game that Brooklyn should win easily. Steve Nash likes to pull his top guys early in these types of games so I'd tread with caution, but as of now, I have Mills projected to score 25.5 fantasy points over 32 minutes. I'm not sure if I'll play him in cash or not yet, but I'll definitely have exposure in GPPs.

Svi Mykhailiuk, SG - at SAC ($3,700)

This is a GPP punt that I'm loving early on as Mykhailiuk is currently projected as the highest points per dollar player on the slate. It'll mostly come down to his minutes, but as of now, I have Svi projected to play 30 minutes tonight. With OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa off of the floor, Mykhailiuk averages 0.85 FD points per minute. If he does end up getting 30+ minutes, I'll bet that he's in the winning lineup tonight.

Also consider: LaMelo Ball ($8,800), Lonzo Ball ($6,800)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kristaps Porzingis, PF/C - at PHO ($9,000)

Porzingis has been on fire lately, and his price is reflecting that. He's logged at least 48 FD points in each of his last three games and should get another opportunity to be the Mavs top option with Luka doubtful tonight. Porzingis had 21 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists with two blocks and a steal on Wednesday night against the Suns and should look to repeat the performance tonight. I feel the same about Porzingis as I did with Brunson, both are great GPP plays if Luka ends up playing, but if he does end up sitting I'll likely be playing both in cash.

Gary Trent, SG/SF - at SAC ($7,000)

Gary Trent has been fantastic this season, averaging 17.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.4 steals per game in 34.5 minutes per game this season. He's been playing well from a fantasy perspective lately, averaging 36.87 fantasy points per game over his last four. He's been playing a hefty amount of minutes of late, and I have him projected to play 38 tonight with both Anunoby and Achiuwa out. He's a solid GPP play but if you need someone in the mid-tier in cash, he's a viable option there as well.

Scottie Barnes, SF/PF - at SAC ($6,800)

I'm sure by now you're tired of hearing about Raptors and Mavericks, but I promise this is the last one. Both teams are projected to play in high-scoring matchups tonight, and in NBA DFS, we have to find the take the value where we can get it. Barnes has been on a bit of a cold streak fantasy-wise, but if I'm pivoting off of Gary Trent, it would be to Barnes. My projections currently have him playing 38 minutes and recording 35.43 fantasy points, I rate him as a solid GPP play.

Also consider: Myles Turner ($7,400), Josh Hart ($5,200)

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic, C - vs CHI ($11,300)

After a relatively up-and-down start to the season fantasy-wise, the reigning MVP has seriously picked it up. He's logged at least 50 FD points in all but one game in November, where he logged 49.3 points against the Blazers in just 27 minutes. My biggest concern is that Jokic might not play a lot of minutes due to Denver being on a back-to-back, but with Philadelphia coming into town and beating them last night, I think that Denver wants win this one. My projections have him for 36 minutes right now, but even just 32-33 minutes should be enough against a Chicago team who is among the worst in the league in both efficiency against the center position.

Deandre Ayton, C - vs DAL ($7,800)

Ayton has played extremely well since coming back from his leg injury, logging at least 35 FD points in each game. He had 19 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and a block on Wednesday night against the Mavericks. The Mavericks have been brutal against the center position this season, ranking bottom-five in both efficiency and fantasy points allowed. This is a potential smash spot for Ayton, and currently, I have him projected for 42.43 points, well over 5x value.

Also consider: Jonas Valanciunas ($8,200), Chimezie Metu ($4,100)
