FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/11/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

donovan mitchell NBA DFS lineup picks daily fantasy basketball betting picks

Juan Carlos Blanco highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/11/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We have a compact three-game slate on tap Thursday night, one that forces us to be even more prudent and efficient than usual with our lineup construction.

Additionally, because of some confirmed and likely absences to big-name players, we have an even smaller pool of candidates to choose from. Luckily, there are still some top-shelf options in solid matchups, as well as a couple of players poised to benefit in the form of expanded usage and opportunities from the aforementioned injuries.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/11/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward and center on FanDuel, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle and lower end of the salary scale. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Donovan Mitchell, PG – vs. IND ($8,600)

On such a small slate, Mitchell is one of those players you almost have to consider investing in, factoring in his considerable upside. The dynamic guard has scored between 46.1 and 54.6 FD points in three of his past four games, offering tangible evidence of such. Mitchell faces a Pacers squad that's allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency (22.2 percent) to two-guards as well, along with the sixth-most made threes (4.1) per game to the position, a particularly relevant stat when evaluating Mitchell's candidacy.

Tyrese Maxey, PG – vs. TOR ($7,000)

Maxey has been outstanding in his starting point guard role of late, scoring over 40 FD points in each of his last two games and no less than 30.6 in any of his last four. The 76ers will be down Joel Embiid at minimum Thursday, and there's a chance Tobias Harris and Seth Curry miss the contest as well. In other words, Maxey will be taking on some extra responsibility once again, with the only question being to what degree. It's worth noting he has a solid statistical matchup from a shooting perspective as well, as the Raptors are allowing a 46.6 percent success rate from the floor to PGs, including a 40.5 percent figure from distance. Maxey boasts respective 49.0 percent and 38.5 percent figures in those categories, making it a good fit for his skill set.

Gary Trent Jr., SG – at PHI ($6,300)

Trent has seen a slight drop in salary due to a couple of underwhelming performances where he's scored 20.2 and 19.8 FD points. However, the young sharpshooter had scored well over 30 in five of his previous six contests, affording him a very appealing ceiling for his salary. The opposing Sixers are also allowing the eighth-highest offensive efficiency to shooting guards (22.0 percent) and 39.5 FD points per game to the position, furthering Trent's case for offering a solid return on his modest salary.

Also consider: Fred VanVleet ($8,100)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Paul George, SF- vs. MIA ($10,300)

George is averaging 49 FD points per contest, and he's facing a Heat team likely to be without Jimmy Butler (ankle) and playing its third game in four nights. All of those factors heighten his appeal despite the fact he's the highest-salaried player on the slate. George has been under 40 FD points just once in the last six games and just twice all season, while on the other end of the spectrum, he's already exceeded 50 in four contests. Additionally, the Heat has only been middle of the pack against small forwards in terms of offensive efficiency allowed, and they've surrendered the ninth-most made threes per game (3.2) to the position even with Butler typically healthy.

Tyler Herro, SF – at LAC ($6,400)

Factoring in Butler's likely absence after he left Wednesday's game against the Lakers with an ankle sprain, Herro makes for an intriguing play at his salary. The third-year sharpshooter is enjoying a career-best year across the board and checks in with a blistering 42.3 percent success rate from distance and an average of 17.3 shot attempts per contest overall. The opportunities would only increase if Butler was out, and Herro is already sporting a 27.0 percent usage rate and averaging 35.1 FD points per 36 minutes with his teammate off the floor this season.

Nicolas Batum, SF – vs. MIA ($6,100)

Batum has been outstanding in his starting power forward role, posting over 30 FD points in four of his last five contests while shooting a career-best 53.3 percent, including 46.4 percent from three-point range, on the campaign. The veteran has been even hotter over the last four games while comfortably eclipsing the 60.0 percent mark in both categories, putting him firmly in play against a Heat team allowing 44.4 FD points per game to PFs.

Also consider: Scottie Barnes ($6,800)

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Andre Drummond – vs. TOR ($9,100)

Drummond will once again take the floor as a starter in place of Joel Embiid (COVID-19 protocols) and he's already exceeded 50 FD points in each of his first two games in his teammate's stead. Drummond has pulled down 25 and 20 rebounds in those contests, and his matchup against the Raptors on Thursday should facilitate another big night on the boards. Toronto is allowing a robust 52.1 FD points per game to centers and just allowed a whopping 58 rebounds in a loss to Boston on Wednesday night.

Domantas Sabonis – at UTA($8,800)

Sabonis is back on an upswing after a couple of rare sub-30-FD-point tallies, and he’ll come into Thursday’s matchup having put up 48.8 FD points against the Nuggets in his most recent contest Wednesday night. Sabonis has three straight double-doubles and five in the last six contests overall, and despite their well-earned defensive reputation, the Jazz checks in Thursday allowing the sixth-most points per game to PFs (23.3), along with 44.5 FD points per contest to the position.

Also consider: Bam Adebayo ($8,200)
