We have a 9 game slate tonight, and there are good options on the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters where you can afford them.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 2/20/18. DFS Forwards to Consider

Connor McDavid - C, EDM vs BOS (DK - $7,600, FD - $9,100)

McDavid is coming off a hat-trick game, and while he won't put up that level of performance every game, he is still a solid play tonight. He is up against the Bruins, who are on the second night of a back to back, and will likely be rolling out their backup goalie tonight. The Bruins are generally one of the better defensive teams in the league, so combined with McDavid's hot hand, I like him as a one off in GPPs. He is expensive, but is seeing time on the top forward line and the top power-play unit, so he has multi-point upside nearly every night. He takes over three shots per game, and averaging over one NHL point per game.

Alex Killorn - W, TB @ WAS (DK - $4,800, FD - $4,800)

Killorn is on the second forward line and the first power-play, and simply too cheap. He has 11 points in his last 10 games, and is taking about two shots per game over this span. Tamap will almost certainly be up against Braden Holtby, since he didn't start in yesterday's game for the Capitals. Holtby has allowed 15 goals over his last three games, and if he is struggling this much we want to stack against him. Killorn offers cheap exposure to the always powerful Tampa Bay top power-play unit.

DFS Defenders to Consider 

Shayne Gostisbehere - D, PHI vs MON (DK - $6,100, FD - $6,600)

Gostisbehere has 12 points in his last 10 games, and is looking to be a solid cash game option for tonight. He is up against the Canadiens, who are giving up over three goals per game, along with plenty of shots ever game. He is on the first defensive pairing and the first power-play unit, so multi-point upside is there for him. I also like using him in a stack of the first power-play, since the Flyers are in a good spot to score some goals. He is taking about three shots per game, and blocking over one shot per game, so plenty of fantasy value in multiple categories.

Jake Gardiner - D, TOR vs FLA (DK - $4,800, FD - $4,900)

Gardiner is on the top power-play and the second defensive pairing for the Maple Leafs. He is in a good spot tonight against the Panthers, who are giving up over three goals per game, along with plenty of shots. He has seven points in his last 10 games, and is taking and blocking over one shot per game in that span. Not super expensive, and could be great in a stack, since the Toronto offense is always capable of putting up multiple goals at will.

DFS Goalies to Consider

Connor Hellebuyck - WPG vs LA (DK - $8,300, FD - $8,200)

Hellebuyck and the Jets are a -175 favorite at home tonight, making him a very interesting option for cash games, since he is likely to come away with the win. He has 22 wins in 27 starts at home this season, and is only giving up 2.11 goals at home. He is seeing just under 30 shots per game while at home this season, so plenty of upside for him in this matchup, along with wins in three straight starts. Should also be noted that he is up against the Kings, who are on the second night of a back to back.
