FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (9/19/16): MLB DFS Advice

Max Petrie highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 9/19/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your FanDuel MLB DFS lineups.

Welcome to our Monday edition of FanDuel picks on Rotoballer. Perhaps you're looking to capitalize on your NFL winnings or need your baseball fix because you're team missed the playoffs. Have no fear, because we have all 24 teams are in play with first pitch at 2:20 ET, so there are plenty of contests to enter and various options to ponder.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/19/16. As for Vegas insights, the heavy moneyline favorites tonight are the Mets (-265) and Cubs (-230). The highest scoring totals are Cardinals-Rockies (11.5) and Angels-Rangers (10).

Editor's Note: Be sure to check out FantasyAces DFS contests for Week 3. New users that sign up on Fantasy Aces and make a $20 deposit will receive RotoBaller's full season NFL Premium Pass for free (including Premium DFS), normally a $59.99 value. Expert DFS research, sample lineups, matchup ratings and lots more!

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Red Sox versus Dylan Bundy

While Bundy features a plus fastball and was pitching well to start the second half, he's started to falter with a 6.27 ERA in his past four starts. Perhaps the innings are starting to catch up for the rookie. Unlike Bundy, the Red Sox continue to play with a team on a mission. Their .855 OPS in September is the best in baseball. Hanley Ramirez, David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, you know the usual suspects.

Mets versus Aaron Blair

Blair has been in and out of the Braves rotation this season but he has yet to make a solid impression. He is winless in 13 starts and has a 8.23 with the Braves. With the Mets holding onto a Wild Card spot, I expect them to take advantage of the pitching matchup and pile it on early.

Also Consider: Cardinals versus Tyler Anderson

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Madison Bumgarner (SP, SF) - 10,500

While the Bumgarner-Clayton Kershaw duel has the Dodgers favored, I want the desperate team here. The Giants need a victory to keep pace in the NL West and Wild Card while Bumgarner has a 2.75 ERA at Dodger Stadium. Ownership should be lower than normal with Kershaw factored in, making this a favorable 50/50 or tourney play.

A.J. Cole (SP, WAS) - $6,000

If you choose to go cheap for strikeouts look no further. Cole has 19 strikeouts in 16 innings in September while the Marlins have been one of the coldest teams to finish the year, posting a .653 OPS as a team (28th overall).

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Evan Gattis (C, HOU) - $3,100

Gattis continues to be a deal on FanDuel in contrast to DraftKings and is an excellent source of cheap power. He has three home runs in his past five games and has solidified himself into the 5-hole for Astros every night.

First Base (1B) - Kendrys Morales (1B, KC) - $3,100

Morales has been on fire, hitting .400 with four home runs in the month of September and quietly is up to 26 HR on the year. He is hitting .300 versus LHP this season and is 2-for-6 lifetime versus Carlos Rodon.

Second Base (2B) - Rougned Odor (2B, TEX) - $3,900

Odor has put together 31-HR season and made a case for a few MVP votes too. He also loves hitting at home (.292) and is finishing strong in 2016 with a .913 OPS in September.

Shortstop (SS) - Jose Peraza (SS, CIN) - $3,000

Peraza has a been a key piece of fantasy teams reaching the finals and can also be of DFS service too. He has a .317 average with three steals in September and is hitting .322 versus righties this season.

Third Base (3B) - Ryon Healy (3B, OAK) - $3,800

Who saw Healy coming? If you have your hand up you're a liar. He's been an absolute monster for Oakland, slashing .391/.435/.656 with four home runs and 12 RBI in September. Hes in my lineups until further notice.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Brandon Drury (OF, ARI) - $3,500

Gotta keep rolling with the hot hand. Drury is hitting over .400 this past week and just had a four-hit game yesterday, including the game-winner. At $3.5K, this is simply too good to pass up.

Khris Davis (OF, OAK) - $3,600

Davis has made a case for Fantasy MVP, given his cost nothing on draft day. He is up to 40 HR and 99 RBI on the season, including six home runs in September. He's a bargain for power.

Jackie Bradley Jr. (OF, BOS) - $3,500

JBJ is a quiet member of the BoSox stack, given some proclaimed regression was inevitable. But he's turned it on in September, posting a .846 OPS with three HR. He also has a HR to his name versus Dylan Bundy.

Also Consider: Trea Turner (OF, WAS) - $4,600 and Chris Young (OF, BOS) - $3,000
