Early DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/9/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Keegan Murray daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's Early DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 3/9/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

Here we are! Conference Championship Week is when the Madness of March really starts. The ACC, Big 12(10), Big Ten(14), Pac 12, SEC, and Big East tournaments are all underway with four games in each conference today. That gives us some high-quality basketball in the afternoon and the evening. I've got you covered on both slates. Due to the late finishes of the conference tournament games, the evening slate isn't up until sometime tomorrow, so you will get the picks tomorrow morning.

The Big 12(10) offers up Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas, and West Virginia. The Pac 12 gives us Colorado, UCLA, Washington State, and Oregon. The ACC gives us Pitt, Duke, Wake, and Miami. We get Ohio State, Iowa, Rutgers, and Michigan out of the Big Ten(14). We get Mississippi State, Florida, Ole Miss, and Tennessee from the SEC. St. John's, Marquette, Providence, and UConn represent the Big East. Are you ready for more March Madness?  Strap in! It's going to be one hell of a ride!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/9/23, starting at noon Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($9,400)

Kolek just torched the Johnnies over the weekend to the tune of 42.25 DraftKings points. That was his third consecutive game over 40 and sixth straight over 30. Don't overthink this. Kolek is going to get us what we pay for. Considering Appleby struggled against the Canes three weeks ago, that makes this decision much easier.

Kobe Bufkin, Michigan ($7,300)

The Wolverines closed the regular season with close losses to Indiana and Illinois. Bufkin has played a staggering 129 minutes over the last three games. That's right...he has played a minimum of 42 minutes in each one. That accounts for some of his huge stats of late, but he was scoring well anyway, including 14 against Rutgers four games ago. I'm here for the uptick in peripheral stats. Bufkin averaged 17.7 points and 5.8 rebounds over the last ten games of the season.

Dylan Addae-Wusu, St. John's ($6,200)

Addae Wusu closed the season with a huge 40 DraftKings point outing against Marquette and followed that up with 31 more against Butler in just 29 minutes. Addae-Wusu probably won't score 25 points again as he did on Saturday, but the volume is there and he is still stacking up a dozen peripherals with his points.

Julian Hammond, Colorado ($4,400)

Hammond has picked up two starts with K.J. Simpson out and has responded with 66 DraftKings points in those two games. He's not clearing 30 against UCLA, but even if he gets in the mid-20s at this price, we'll be ecstatic. I think we can count on that.

Also consider: Tyree Appleby, Wake Forest ($10,000); Jordan Hawkins, Connecticut ($8,100); Gradey Dick, Kansas ($7,400); Tyger Campbell, UCLA ($7,100); Kedrian Johnson, West Virginia ($6,800); Riley Kugel, Florida ($6,500); Luke O'Brien, Colorado ($5,900); Bruce Thornton, Ohio State ($5,400); Keeshawn Barthelemy, Oregon ($4,500); James White, Mississippi ($4,300)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Kris Murray, Iowa ($9,700)

Things have changed for the Hawkeyes since coach Fran McCaffrey, upset about a series of what he considered bad calls down the stretch against Michigan State, had an epic staredown with an official in that game. Iowa came back from ten points down in the last 90 seconds to force overtime and eventually win after that staredown. You can't blame it all on the coach. Murray has at least 40 DraftKings points in all three games since.

Tolu Smith, Mississippi State ($8,300)

Smith closed the season strong with at least 27 DraftKings points in each of the last seven games. He cleared that mark in his meeting with Florida back on January 21 despite making just five of 15 shots and having to shoot around Castleton. The going should be easier for Smith today. I see him having a nice game in this one.

Bobi Klintman, Wake Forest ($6,300)

The freshman has been a force for the Deacons since he took the starting job about a month ago. The only thing that has been able to slow him down is foul trouble. He is still learning how to score. His game against the Orange yesterday marked his best scoring output of the season as he topped double figures for only the seventh time this campaign. The going will be tougher against Miami, but Klintman should still be able to hold his own.

Tre King, Iowa State ($3,500)

I don't care if he's playing the Celtics. King is starting at this low price! He put up 24.75 DraftKings points against the Bears on Saturday in the regular season finale. Expect somewhere around the same output tonight. Not much has changed in the last five days.

Also consider: Joel Soriano, St. John's ($9,200); Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($8,800); N'Faly Dante, Oregon ($8,400); Myles Burns, Mississippi ($6,900); D.J. Rodman, Washington State ($6,200); Nate Bittle, Oregon ($4,900); Robert Allen, Mississippi ($4,700); Jason Jitoboh, Florida ($4,300)
