DraftKings NCAA Tournament CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 3/15/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 3/15/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

DraftKings is starting a really disturbing trend of leaving some good NIT games off of these slates. Tonight, we have only five games despite 10 being played. That diminishes the enjoyment for us and increases the likelihood of having many of the same lineups across these tournaments. That's less fun for everyone.

We open it up with a First Four game between Fairleigh Dickinson and Texas Southern, who was the eighth seed in their own conference tournament! We have a nice little battle between Florida and Central Florida. The last First Four game between Arizona State and Nevada is the next tip. 9 pm brings us Virginia Tech in Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats. We finish this off with an 11 pm tip in Eugene with UC Riverside heading up to Oregon.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/15/23, starting at 6:40 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

C.J. Kelly, Central Florida ($7,500)

The Gators have struggled defensively since Colin Castleton went down. That's bad news against a UCF team that can score points in a hurry. Kelly had a rough patch in February, but he appears to be back on track with 11 made threes in four March games. Kelly has averaged a shade over 35 DraftKings points in March so far. He feels underpriced considering what a mess the Florida D has been.

Riley Kugel, Florida ($6,800)

The Gators miss Castleton on defense, but Kugel has made sure that they don't miss him on offense. Kugel has scored at least 15 points in seven of the nine games without Castleton. He continues to dump in loads of points and has proven to be solid on the glass as well.

Keeshawn Barthelemy, Oregon ($4,700)

Both Jermaine Couisnard and Will Richardson are out for Duck U so Barthelemy and Rivaldo Soares will likely start in the backcourt. I'm probably using both of them, but if I had to choose one, it would be Barthelemy. He was trending upward before these injuries. Soares will likely do most of the ball handling, which should leave the shooting to Barthelemy.

Also consider: Kenan Blackshear, Nevada ($7,800); Jarod Lucas, Nevada ($7,100); PJ Henry, Texas Southern ($6,600); DJ Davis, UC-Riverside ($6,300); Kyle Lofton, Florida ($5,900); Pierre Crockrell, UC-Riverside ($4,600); Jamiya Neal, Arizona State ($4,100)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Taylor Hendricks, Central Florida ($8,200)

Hendricks is a bit of a risk since he isn't always the efficient shooter that he should be. That said, he's a monster on the boards and in the paint. He's a raw talent, but he is the type of big man that today's NBA is looking for. Another year of seasoning would be good for him, but he's already a projected lottery pick. Let's have fun with this while we can! Florida is going to have huge issues with Hendricks. This is one game where they could really use Castleton plugging up the middle. Now, Hendricks is free to go nuts.

Darrion Williams, Nevada ($7,400)

Nevada has a lot of talented players and a NET ranking in the mid-30s, so they deserve to be here even if you've never heard of them. Williams is the most consistent of said solid players. Williams has at least 20 DraftKings points in every game since February 1. The best part – and the reason why Williams is so consistent – is that he doesn't rely on scoring to hit value. He's a beast on the boards and a strong defender. The points are just a bonus.

Quincy Guerrier, Oregon ($4,800)

Someone is going to have to play some big minutes for the Ducks. This might be Guerrier's big chance. The transfer from Syracuse took a backseat to some of the youngsters in Eugene this year after starting every game for the Ducks last year. He averaged 13.7 points per game in 2020-21 for the Orange and 10.1 for the Ducks last year. This has a chance to be his best game of the year, especially if N'Faly Dante is out.

Also consider: Justyn Mutts, Virginia Tech ($8,900); N'Faly Dante, Oregon ($7,900); Davon Barnes, Texas Southern ($6,800); Sean Moore, Fairleigh Dickinson ($6,000); Nick Davidson, Nevada ($5,100); Jason Jitoboh, Florida ($4,600); Kel'el Ware, Oregon ($3,900)
