DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/11/21): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on January 11, 2021. Eric Moody provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

The NBA schedule has eight games on the slate for Monday. Six out of eight games have an implied point total of 220 or more. You'll have a plethora of players to choose from, but here are three tips on how to attack it.

First of all, it’s important to look at the pace and Vegas lines. Second, it’s also useful to understand the number of fantasy points a team gives up to a specific position. The final tip is to identify value plays which is critical on a slate of any size. You don’t have to necessarily go for the cheapest value, but you want to identify players who have a high floor and a high ceiling.

This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/11/21. You can also check out today’sFanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Luka Doncic - PG, DAL vs. NO ($11,300)

Doncic scored 20 points, accumulated 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks, and a steal in 35 minutes against the Magic last Saturday night. Did you know that over the last four games he has alternated between double-doubles and triple-doubles? Doncic leads all NBA players with a Usage Rate of 37.7%. This metric is an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while he was on the floor. Doncic has the highest ceiling of any player on the slate. The Mavericks and Pelicans have an implied point total of 228.4.

Kyle Lowry - PG, TOR vs. POR ($8,200)

Lowry scored 17 points, accumulated nine rebounds, six assists, and one steal in 34 minutes against the Warriors on Sunday. He's scored 35 or more DraftKings fantasy points in every game this season. Lowry's has an excellent matchup against the Blazers tonight. Portland has allowed the fourth-most DraftKings fantasy points per game to point guards. It will be important to monitor Lowry's status leading up to the game. The 34-year old point guard could be rested this evening.

Tyrese Maxey - PG, PHI vs. ATL ($4,700)

Maxey started at point guard on Saturday night for the 76ers and delivered a breathtaking performance. He put up 39 points, accumulated seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 44 minutes against the Nuggets. The 76ers were down to just seven players because of COVID-19 and injuries. Did you know that Maxey had a Usage Rate of 31%? Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid could return to the fold for tonight's game, but the 76ers will still be down several rotation players. Maxey is in a great position to outperform his salary. The Hawks have allowed the 7th most DraftKings fantasy points to point guards this season.

Bonus Guards: Damian Lillard ($9,700), Devin Booker ($7,900), Jrue Holiday ($6,900)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Khris Middleton - SF, MIL vs. ORL ($8,200)

Middleton stepped up on Saturday night for a Bucks team without Giannis Antetokounmpo. He registered 27 points, five rebounds, six assists, and a steal across 35 minutes. Middleton is averaging 22.7 points per game this season while contributing in multiple statistical categories. Did you know that he only has three games this season with 33 or fewer DraftKings fantasy points? Middleton's Usage Rate is 25% and has the 17th highest Player Efficiency Rating. This metric sums up all a player's positive accomplishments, subtracts the negative accomplishments and returns a per-minute rating of a player's performance. Middleton has one of the highest floors and ceilings of any forward on the slate.

Victor Oladipo - SG/SF, IND vs. SAC ($6,900)

Oladipo has exceeded expectations so far this season. He scored 16 points, accumulated six rebounds, four assists, and one steal against the Suns last Saturday. Oladipo has averaged 32.6 minutes, 20 points, six rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game this season. He faces a Kings team that has allowed the highest number of DraftKings fantasy points per game to guards this season.

Marvin Bagley III - PF/C, SAC vs. IND ($5,700)

Bagley scored 15 points and snagged eight rebounds in 24 minutes against the Trail Blazers on Saturday. He's averaged 27.3 minutes, 17 points, eight rebounds. 0.7 assists, 0.7 steals, and one block per game over his last three. Bagley's Usage Rate this season is 25.5%. He's a nice value against the Pacers on Monday night.

Bonus Forwards: Pascal Siakam ($8,100), RJ Barrett ($7,100), Aaron Gordon ($6,700)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Andre Drummond - C, CLE vs. MEM ($9,200)

Drummond scored 26 points, 24 rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block across 41 minutes against the Bucks on Saturday. Did you know that he has 10 double-doubles this season? Drummond's Usage Rate this season is 32%. He's a must-start player and has the highest ceiling among centers on the slate.

Jusuf Nurkic - C, POR vs. TOR ($6,600)

Nurkic has averaged 24.6 minutes, 10.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, one steal, and one block this season. Over the last three games, he's averaged 34 DraftKings fantasy points per game over his last three. Nurkic is a very good option if you are looking to save money at the center position.

Bonus Centers: Nikola Vucevic ($8,900), Dwight Howard ($4,800), Tony Bradley ($3,300)
