The NBA season is winding down, which means teams are benching players for rest. That is a great way to find value on a slate, but you will have to actively be looking for this news.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/8/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Chris Paul – PG, at SA ($7,900)

Paul saw his price drop tonight because of the tough matchup against the Spurs, but he’s entirely too cheap. He’s averaging 26.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 11.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 40 fantasy points in each of his last five games, including three games with 50 or more fantasy points. He’s also averaging 37.3 fantasy points in only 28.2 minutes per game against the Spurs this season. CP3 is any elite option in all leagues on this slate.

J.J. Redick – SG, at SA ($4,700)

Redick is another Clippers player that is too cheap on this slate. It seems as if the entire Clippers team has been heating up recently, and Redick has been a part of that group. He’s averaging 22.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 1.0 steal per game over the last 10 days. He is generally a hit or miss option, but he has scored at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He has looked decent against the Spurs this season, averaging 17.8 fantasy points in 25.5 minutes in three games this season. Redick makes a great pair with Paul, but only in tournaments.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Al-Farouq Aminu – PF, vs UTA ($5,400) 

Aminu has seen his role increase with Jusuf Nurkic out, and he’s averaging 14.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 block, and 1.5 steals per game over the last 10 days. He still comes with a low price tag, although he gets a terrible matchup against the Jazz tonight. Aminu has the ability to contribute in each of the five categories, which adds to his upside. Aminu should only be used in tournaments for his price tag tonight, though.

Alex Poythress – SF, vs MIL ($4,000)

Poythress is an interesting option for the Sixers. He’s playing solid minutes because of multiple injuries in Philly, and he’s averaging 8.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game since joining the team. He has scored as high as 25.75 fantasy points in a game, but he has also scored as low as 7.75 fantasy points in a game, as well. He gets a great matchup against the Bucks tonight, and Poythress is a high upside salary relief option on this slate.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Rudy Gobert – C, at POR ($8,600)

Gobert isn’t a cheap option anymore, but he’s still fairly consistent. He has been playing a solid role in the offense, and he’s extremely efficient in the paint. He also has elite rebounding and blocking rates. He has flashed quiet triple double potential, which is rare, specifically with blocks. He also gets a great matchup against the Blazers, who will be looking to push the pace in this game. Gobert has played well against the Blazers in three matchups this season, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.
