The top DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 1/17/17 by Thomas Vechio. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings.

We have a nice five game slate tonight with some match ups out there that you want to exploit. Plenty of options whether you are building a cash lineup or going for a GPP. Also come good game stacks out there, so let's get into it.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/17/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Kyle Lowry - PG, @ BKN ($8,600)

Lowry is always a solid option for cash or GPP, and tonight he is up against the Nets who are dead last in the league when it comes to guarding point guards. The Nets give up 54 DraftKings points per game, which is flat out terrible. The Raptors played the Nets just three days ago and Lowry put up 44 points, and I'm expecting much of the same from him tonight. Lowry has put up 39 points or more in three straight games. He could be a good stack with some of the other Raptors players, since they should lock up another win vs one of the league's worst teams.

Eric Gordon - SG, @ MIA ($5,800)

Eric Gordon is making his case for sixth man of the year. He comes off the bench and provides a nice spark for the Rockets. Off the bench he is averaging almost 30 points per game, and he generally doesn't play more than about 35 minutes. So the minute to fantasy point production is very high. Gordon is up against the Heat who are in the top 10 when it comes to guarding shooting guards, but I still see Gordon doing his thing off the bench and hitting value for you. Also provides a bit of salary relief, with some really strong consistency.

Also consider: Zach Lavine - SG, @ SA ($6,000)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Trevor Booker - PF, vs TOR ($5,400)

Booker is quietly putting up solid numbers for the Nets, who seem to struggle with most parts of their game. He has scored 23 DraftKings points or more in eight of his last ten games. Really good production from a role player. He is up against the Raptors who are giving up 46 points per game to power forwards. Now I don't expect him to get that many points, but this game should be decently fast paced, which will provide Booker with plenty of opportunities to fill the stat sheet and hit value for you.

Danilo Gallinari - SF, @ LAL ($6,000)

Gallinari, along with many players on Denver, doesn't get much time in the national conversation when it comes to well preforming players. But he has done a really solid job this year on a team who is fighting to get into the playoffs. He has scored 26 DraftKings points or more in nine of his last ten games. Now, I know those aren't blow you away numbers, but for his price, if he can hit that or just slightly above, he is worth the price. He also has a favorable match up vs the Lakers who are third worst in the league at guarding small forwards, giving up 43 points per game.

Also consider: Jimmy Butler - SF, vs DAL ($9,100)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, @ LAL ($8,100)

Jokic is quite the up and coming star, and he is criminally under looked in the NBA. He has now scored 45 points or more in six of his last 11 games. That is SUPER strong, and he is doing this almost regardless of match up. He can be used in either cash or GPP, since he has the high floor, but also some real nice upside. And his match up tonight couldn't be better, he is up against the Lakers who are second worst in the league vs centers, giving up 53 points per game. This extremely favorable match up, plus his production, is auto lock for me tonight in all lineups.

Montrezl Harrell - C, @ MIA ($5,200)

Harrell has seen a huge uptick in minutes and production after the injury to Clint Capela. He isn't the most offensively gifted, but he seems to be the beneficiary of having great players around him. He has scored 30 points or more in three of his last five games. That is great production out of a player who is only $5,200. His match up tonight is also pretty favorable. The Rockets are up against the Heat who give up 50 points per game to centers.
