DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 11/14/15

I don't love the value plays on this slate, so I offered somewhat of more expensive guys. While that is the case, I do have a few guys who are fairly cheap, so you can fit the high priced studs, as well.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 11/14/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

DraftKings Point Guards

Brandon Knight (vs DEN, $7,100)

Knight has been playing extremely well this season, as he’s averaging 20.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 35.0 minutes per game. He’s coming off a great game against the Clippers, in which he scored a season his 37 points. He gets a much better matchup against the Nuggets tonight, who are a team that loves pushing the pace. That means this game will likely turn into a shootout, as both teams focus on scoring, and Knight will have tons of opportunities. He’s a fairly safe option for his price, and he can be used in all leagues.

Emmanuel Mudiay (at PHO, $6,000)

Mudiay is a player I love targeting in any plus matchup. His price never really going up, but he has scored 30+ fantasy points in five of his first eight starts. As I mentioned before, this game should quickly become a shootout, and Mudiay is the primary ball-handler for the Nuggets. He has the ability to contribute points, rebounds, and assists at a fairly high level, which bodes well for his fantasy outlook in a game like this one. The Suns aren’t a great defensive team, but Mudiay is best suited for GPPs.

 

DraftKings Shooting Guards

Bradley Beal (vs ORL, $6,900)

Beal is currently questionable, so you’ll want to check his status before the game. If he’s starting, he’ll make a great fantasy play. He was enjoying a breakout season, while averaging 22.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, before he injured his shoulder. He gets a great matchup against the Magic, who have one of the worst defenses in the NBA this season. This game should feature a boatload of points, and Beal could easily lead the Wizards in scoring tonight. He’s a great play in all leagues, if he’s starting.

Marcus Thornton (vs DAL, $5,900)

Thornton’s price continues to creep up, but it still isn’t high enough. On the season, Thornton is averaging 17.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 35.2 minutes per game. The Rockets have opted to use a small ball lineup, which means Thornton is the starter, and that will likely be the case tonight, as Howard will most likely sit this game out. Thornton has been consistently hitting value the entire season, and he’ll get a plus matchup against the Mavs tonight. He can be used in all leagues until his price raises a bit.

 

DraftKings Small Forwards

Evan Fournier (at WAS, $6,300)

Fournier continues to play extremely well, as he has all season. He looked like a larger part of the offense last night with Oladipo out, and it’s unlikely Oladipo is cleared to play tonight. That means Fournier will be playing heavy minutes again, and he will also see an uptick in usage. He’ll also get a much better matchup tonight, as he’ll be playing a fast paced Wizards team. As you can probably see from earlier in the season, Fournier is a streaky player, and it looks like he’s heating up again right now. He can be used in all leagues.

Joe Johnson (at GS, $5,500)

Another day, another JJ recommendation. He’s playing too well right now to be priced under $6,000. He’s producing in the three main categories at a fairly high level, and he gets a good matchup against a fast paced Golden State team. Johnson has great upside because of his potential triple double ability, but he’s also a fairly safe option, as well. The only downfall in this matchup is that this game could quickly become a blowout, and Johnson will likely rest if that happens. Still, JJ can be used in all leagues tonight.

 

DraftKings Power Forwards

Draymond Green (vs BKN, $7,000)

Green’s season is getting a bit overlooked because of how well Curry is playing, but he is averaging a cool 11.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game. That’s good for 36.0 fantasy points per game, which is the third most of any power forward on the slate. Green is a triple double threat every time he steps on the court, and it’s only a matter of time before he completes one. He gets a great matchup against a weak Brooklyn frontcourt, and Green can be used in all leagues.

Clint Capela (vs DAL, $4,800)

Capela will likely draw the start tonight, as Dwight Howard will likely rest on the second game of a back-to-back. Capela’s price was a bit surprising, as it shot up for this game, which hurts his appeal a bit. He has dominated when he has gotten big minutes, as you can tell from his game against the Kings. If he plays big minutes, he should have no problems hitting value, although his minutes aren’t guaranteed. Terrence Jones is now healthy, which takes away from Capela a bit, but he should still see minutes in the 20s, and he makes a great GPP option.

 

DraftKings Centers

Zaza Pachulia (at HOU, $5,600)

Pachulia isn’t the best play on the board, but he may be for his price tag. Pachulia has been underpriced all season, as he has scored 30 or more fantasy points in five of his first eight games. He gets a great matchup against the Rockets, who will likely be without Howard tonight. In his three games that he did not score 30 or more fantasy points, Pachulia is averaging only 16.7 fantasy points per game, which makes him an extremely risky option. Still, his price tag is extremely low, and he makes a great GPP option.
